Anyways, i still like Tom Gamble, although that didnt work out. Voted Jason Licht because i consider him an intriguing candidate. Xanders would be my 3rd choice. Wasnt Marc Ross interviewed as well? I wouldnt have voted for him, but others might.

Ya I forgot Ross, couldn't figure out how to change the poll tho...

Xanders. I like that he has experience. I have come to like him more and more over the last few days. Interesting pick. Seems like Marc Ross is not in the mix. Farmer and Dawson would certainly give them a chance. Omar Khan…no thanks.

I'm sure at least one of them will be a good-great GM, that's the one I want.

He would be a 15 year old, black, gay, transvestite! If finheaven were in charge! IMHO! And I ALMOST forgot, an atheist!

I voted Xanders but would be very happy with Licht as well. There really isn't a bad choice in the poll but Khan and Gaine would be at the bottom for me. Doesn't mean I don't like either because I do just I think the others bring more to the table.

Again I'll mention that I think Ross and Peterson put a very nice pool of candidates together.

You left off Marc Ross in your poll. He gets my vote!

If Finheaven were in charge, we would be talking about firing our new GM the day after he is hired.

I'd vote for me. I could use the cash and the free tickets would be nice too.

I'd rank them:
1a. Xander
1b. Licht
3. Dawson
4. Farmer
5. Gaine
6. Kahn

I'd be happy with any of the first 3, I'd be dissapointed with Farmer but not heartbroken. The last 2 would really piss me off.

I'm bummed we didn't get Gamble as he would have been my top choice. Of the guys left I'd be fine with Xanders or Licht. I kinda want to see if Gaines is any good because I fear he may get away and blossom ... those sort of things do tend to happen to us.

But honestly, I was hoping for other candidates like Gamble, Eliot Wolfe, or one of the top assistants for good drafting teams like Atlanta, Green Bay, or Baltimore. I don't feel like there is a slam dunk GM candidate out there that I can see we could get.
