I hope that Saban was just blowing smoke up Gus's but. Gus Ferrotte is a decent backup, but as a starter he has a penchant for blowing up at crucial times and if we wanted that as our starter we might as well have re-signed Jay "F'N" Fiedler.

I hope all this "fair competition" stuff is just smoke.

We all know AJ Feeley is about a 50/50 shot at being a good QB or a total POS....but at least there is potential there....if Gus gets the start over Feeley...we kill Feeley's confidence completely.

To say the least....I don't get it Nick.

I'm with ya on this one 126. I got to see as much of Gus ferotte as i ever wanted to living up here in washington terr.

I know everyone says he's a better QB than he was, and point to his mumbers at minnesota as proof. All I got to say is long bombs and Moss...

Feeley will be the starter and Gus will help...but if the "Frerotte is the starter" headline flashes up on this site about the middle of August I will have to see a therapist.
 
If Gus gets the start over Feeley then it won't matter how low Feeley's confidence level goes because he will never ever be the starter for miami.. I really want AJ to start because I want to know, without doubt, what AJ has to offer. I like having Gus as a backup because he is a seasoned vet with a good arm.
 
Hey Section...if Feeley gets injured and Ferrotte must start...will that count or are you flexible with this suicide plan? :tongue: :wink:

Better find yourselves a padded room.

You mean to tell me if Frerotte is clearly better than Feeley in TC, you would still rather have Feeley start? Now that is crazy.

NO...I am saying that if Frerotte is clearly better than Feeley in TC...I will jump from the scoreboard at Dolphin Stadium.
 
If I have to endure AJ's growing pain at QB...then you guys should be a little more positive and support Gus.
