if i wear xl t shirts do i wear an xl jersey?

Just go to the mall and try a jersey on. Then order whatever size fit you best. I wear XL t shirts and wear XL jerseys (52). The jersey is big but I like to wear my jerseys baggy and I also wear a t shirt under them. I am 5-10" 210lbs.

if i wanted to take my lazy *** to the store id just buy it there

i bought the xl

a lil bigger then a normal tshirt will be fine...

thanks for the help guys!

I agree that this is the best option. How you want your jersey to fit is a ll personal preference. I have always preferred my jerseys a little baggy. there is aguy I work with that has a couple Steelers jerseys and they all fit him like a semi-tight t-shirt, which I think looks ridiculous (it makes the jersey look like those t-shirts from the 1980's that had the players name and number but they clearly were not jerseys). I always buy jerseys with the thought that they should fit as if you were going to wear pads under them (especially if buying an authentic). That is just my preference. Some people may think I look ridiculous that way:).

Jerseys run long but usually pretty true to size. If you know your chest measurement, it is much easier to buy a jersey online(from one of the major brands...this goes for little league, middle and high school, college, semi-pro, and pro). When I buy a jersey to wear day to day, it will be the same size as my suit jackets. When I was getting jerseys when I played football, I was getting the smallest my pads would fit under(normal jerseys I wear are XXL which is a 52-54, game jerseys would be an XL 48-50). You could always go to the manufacturer website or eastbay, NFLshop, or whatever else to see if they have a suggested fitting(if the jerseys will run larger or smaller) and they'll break down the sized by chest size.

quite simple really. if the maker of the jersey is reebok, for example, just go to google and search for "reebok size chart." go by your waist size.
