I think Cassell in NE will win the 3rd spot for QBs so that leaves no room for Davey. Just a gut feeling I guess. One of our QB's will have to be released though but eh who knows..Davey has not looked good in preseason thus far but I;m guessing Saban would bring out the best in him.
 
I wouldn't be suprised thats Sabans boy.... he'll florish here

It's possible but word up here is that Flutie stays on the roster and that Davey is gone but who knows. Flutie and Cassell will see the most time in their second P/S game I believe.
 
if i could see #6 in a dolphins uni it would make me happy :hi5:. he sure doesn't have that deer in the headlight look that a.j. has made so popular around here. sugarbowl mvp and europe league champ. he nows how to run a team and can zing the crap out of the ball.

To start? To be a backup? What if another ex-LSU guy Josh Reed is cut by the bills does Saban bring him in to?

Not only that, because Saban coached him in college he'll be a better version of HInes Ward, not the slow, penalty laden, drops balls WR he is in buffalo?

Who gives a **** if he was from LSU. It's not like my team is loaded with LSU players, I can only think of 1 off the top of my head. If he was good enough for Belichick to bring in, he's good enough for Saban. It has little to do with the LSU connection other than the fact that we are hurting at the QB spot and Davey would be a good project because of the success he has already achieved with Saban. Haven't you heard? Frerotte will end up starting games for us and there's no one out there that can come in and be an automatic starter this late in the offseason. Davey's a beast with a good arm, he's a good project guy.

WTF is this supposed to say? This is the most poorly written statement I have ever seen made on this board.. Worse than dominizzo in fact, but your a bills fan so it is truley to be expected.

do i detect sarcasm. anyway he didn't drop ball or have many penalties at lsu. the speed thing might still cost him because he's going against much fast cb's then at college. maybe he just likes living in warm cities or having intense coaches around him to motivate. i wouldn't mind giving him a chance. saban might know how to take advantage of his strenghts and not put him in situations to show hiw weaknesses.

u know what when i was watching the pats game casell did look good and it never acurred to me that he could get released when saban did that fan day thing when he got here hes mom or other family member ask if he u bring rohan home but went on to say that hes under contract and that was that but if released i think he would bring him in id be happy with that if he stinks we didnt give up anything

I know they won't keep 4 QBs on the roster (well actually I don't know, but still) Cassel really impressed people with his poise and Davey has just been downright awful.. It wouldn't surprise me if he is released. Flutie is such a fan favorite over here that I think he stays.
