If ross isnt going to do anything just EFFING announce it...

What's the rush guys? It's only been 40 years since we won the super bowl.We should be used to waiting!!

Ozzy rules!!

Develop a plan? He should already have the plan in place!!! He should have known exactly what he was doing in any of the likely scenarios possible after the Jets game...including ****ting the bed!!! Which we did...

I agree 100% but it's apparent he didn't so know we have to wait on him to get a plan together.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in here. Let's not forget about the results of the investigation that took place. I have a feeling if "bullygate" never took place Ross would have already acted. Since the results of that investigation haven't been released yet, I have a feeling that is what he is waiting for.

To those saying there are no better candidates, what are you thinking? Calling Philbin and Ireland average? WTF are some of you thinking. We need a young innovative coach that is willing to shake things up. We need a guy that can institute a new type of offense. Our points scored are among the lowest in the league and have been for years...so stop with the bring in this former coach or this coordinator that had a good offense. We need someone new and fresh. We dont have Marino any more folks and sure as heck dont have Brady, Brees, Manning, or Rodgers to elevate us to another level like they do for their teams. We will never be competitive unless we bring in someone with new ideas.

Ross may have already figured out what he's going to do. there is however no serious benefit to moving forward at this very minute. you got 12 teams in the playoffs with coaches and GMs that are currently untoucbable and unapproachable. why rush?

Not true. Teams on bye can give permission for their assistants to interview. I believe the Patriots just gave the Browns permission to interview McDaniels.

During a bye week, yes. Nobody is going to be interviewed during a week they have a game. If the Browns want McDaniels, or if some sucker wants the Broncos coordinators who are being propped up by Peyton manning, then more power to them. Darrell Bevell is the real gem who's available to be interviewed right now, and I don't think he will be accepting a job this week.

all i keep thinking is....yeah, go ahead and fire all of them....we need to get on with bashing the next bunch.

and you think the fans are just anxious to bash I mean come on the majority of this board has given Ireland thr benefit of the doubt. If this was two years into him being GM I could buy that people are not patient but six years later people are not being unreasonable

The NFL is like an abusive husband. I see the banner crawling on the bottom of an ESPN broadcast: Cleveland Browns seriously interested in Josh McDaniel, have scheduled an interview! And you're left thinking, most of the league is kubuki theater, they're just trying to give the fans the impression they're interested in winning. Keep revenues in the black. Fire one imbecile and then indicate you're infatuated with another. Really, as bad as the Fins' battered fan base has had it the last 30-years, you see last year's next best hope fired, only to see ownership ga-ga over a coaching debacle from 5-years ago, the infamous soul who drafted Tim Tebow! Look at all those years Bob McNair supported Kubiak, even after it was obvious by Kubiak's fourth-year that he was the epitome of an inept mediocrity it took 8-years, and an act of self-immolation for McNair to finally get rid of him. It could always be worse, at least we've got the anti-Dolphins aka the Miami Heat.

Just wait, Chip Kelly will go down in flames once the league figures out his scheme. But as for now, he's a genius. Its not what you do in year one in a crappy division. Its what you do over 3 years.....or maybe two.......or maybe one (Browns)

I really cannot read this supposed sentence.
