And yet the Bills are out of the playoffs while we have one last shot to get in Sunday.

if dolphins lose sunday it will be the 50th time the jets beat us currently they have 49 wins against us and we have 46 wins against them

I voted fire everyone. I would be okay with keeping Philbin if a new GM came in and interviewed Joe and felt comfortable with him as long as he moves on from Sherman. But a new GM who can spend money wisely is needed if this organization is going to go anywhere further than it has the last 5 years. Hell, even a GM who said he was only going to spend money on keeping our own top free agents would be an improvement. Too bad we couldn't keep Ireland as a draft scout and nothing else. But the fins need a new GM.

I voted fire everyone, if we lose. While I like Joe, I don't like either of his coordinators, and there is no separating them. I believe they are probably a package deal.

The Bills waxed the Dolphins not just once, but twice this year... and dominated the dolphins physically. Beating Miami 3 of the last 4 meetings (also owned miami up there in Buffalo in prime time last year, and the final score wasn't indicative how the Bills dominated the dolphins in that one as well as it was 19-7 and Miami scoring a meaningless late TD when it was over already - The Bills dom inated the line of scrimmage and time of possession in that game as they did last week, in last year's game up in Buffalo Miami had 50 yards and two first downs in the first half, LOL

Also of note, the Bills had far FAR more injuries than miami this season, the first half of the season they had their entire secondary out with injury, including backups out thus having to play multiple 3rd string practice squad types (as one example of their injury situation).

What area on miami is better than the bills ??? Besides QB the Bills are clearly the better team. The Bills have a better o-line, better RB's, WR's are close & the Bills may edge out there , the bills have better linebackers (nobody on miami''s LB corps comes close to the instinctual great play of Kiko Alonso), the Bills have a better and more productive d-line (and this is an area miami fans cling to, but again, bills are better here too),... and With Dmitri Patterson out (and he is miami's best secondary player, played better than grimes this yr) and likely not returning next season, the secondary goes to the Bills as well (have some good players back there like Byrd, Gilmore, McKelvin etc who eat miami's lunch).

The dolphins are filled with moderate meh players. Stop overrating the talent on the dolphins. They are not talented as a whole at all. It's a blah boring team filled with stopgap non difference makers like koa misi's who will never take you anywhere (a reflection of the boring general manager)

Dolphins aren't that good, but the Bills blow. You got four wins against teams that can actually pass block at an NFL level. Congrats.

Ireland is not going anywhere and here is why. The Carl Petterson effect! Ireland came from his tree and he is Ross right hand lacky, look how average Peterson was as a GM.

Well why isnt boooofoaloe in our poss ? Why are they going Home , even before there last game to see if it gets them into the playoffs ? NOOOO we dont have a DL that is getting 100 mil over a 10 year deal ? if Buffaloe was that much more better than Miami then , where are they ? Miami has the talent to play with ANYBODY IN THE NFL , and CAN BEAT ANYBODY on any given sunday , if our Coaching would just get better , and Tannehill with a little more experience Tannehill can become a very good Franchise QB , iF Miami had the kind of Money tied up in there DL , if they didnt have the best Defence line in the whole league i would be VERY DISAPOINTED .

Philbin gets too much of a pass on this board. If we don't make the playoffs, fire EVERYONE.

I think they all need to go regardless of whether we win or lose tomorrow. The Chiefs were 2-12 last year. Today they're 11-4. I've had enough of this crap. Let's get some guys in here who care if we win.

Kinda tired of this fire Ireland crap. I'm not as dissatisfied with the last 3yrs draft....even though we haven't seen much of this years draft YET. He has missed on some picks and founds gems at other times. But if you look at other teams drafts over the past few years, there are quite a few teams that have a lot less players contributing or even still playing for that team. Comparatively speaking he actually has done a very good job......contrary to people belief.

And to be honest, the Oline trouble is not Ireland's fault. Plain and simple, it's coaching.

First off, we have Cogs (2012 probowler), Pouncey (2013 probowler), Clabo (2010 probowler, although not playing to that level anymore), J Martin (who was doing better this season) and a mediocre Jerry. This Oline should have been serviceable, and from all the stats on PFF that I see, they are an average line......with the exception of sacks. But how many of those sacks were the lines fault? I think we all agree that Tanny held on to the ball too long early in the season. But why didn't Sherman make adjustments? Roll out, bubble screens, move the pocket, coach your QB to put his head down and run through the gap, step into the pocket, run quick slants, have a dump off (why don't our RBs have more receptions). These are simple adjustments.

Secondly, you have players recognizing things the coaches should be well aware of. Pouncey saying that they were able to protect Tanny in the last Jets game because they established run (and against one of the best run defenses in the league). We all know the run opens the pass and keeps defenses honest......yet we abandon the run quickly in most games, games that we consequently have
lost. Also when McKinnie is coaching Brenner on his flaws, it's a tell tale sign that our coaching staff is not.

It's pretty evident to me that we need an new OC and a new Oline coach.....not a new GM.

Believing the problem has to be either Ireland or the coaching staff is a false dichotomy to begin with. Incognito having played in a probowl game once to prove your point is :bobdole:

True....I just feel Ireland built a good enough team to win and be competitive. If a couple of our close games went our way, we could be sitting atop the division and dancing in the streets right now.

Regardless of what happens on Sunday, I would not bring back Ireland or Sherman. Get some talent for Philbin and a better play caller. That is all.

...and if a couple of our close wins went the other way, Ireland and Philbin would prob both be on the unemployment line today
