If Wanny was a FinHeaven visitor...

LOL Parrothead.. since this is the slow time of year (pre-pre-season), I simply created a thread that allows people to state what they would say to Wanny, if they could...

It wasnt meant as a negative or a bash the heck outta Wanny thread.. It was simply something to pass the time of day and to see what advice others would give...

Normally, I would have shrugged off your comments, but there has been bad blood between us, even though the last few months have been quiet... when I read your most recent personal attack, I could only assume you were trying to start something again...

If that is your intent, I wont back away..
 
Oh Christ now what. you're turning this into some kind of jumped-up macho issue of standing up for yourself and not backing down? Oh cuz lord knows I love to 'bully' people around on here because it gives me a special feeling of satisfaction to 'step to' someone and see them 'back down'. Its a message board for cryin out loud and people post their ideas, arguments, and counter-arguments. Get over it. You still label my reply a "personal attack" which is false. I even tossed in a "I mean sure, its Jeep's opinion and he's certainly allowed to have it, but" for you so that you wouldn't get all titchy and think that I've just questioned your right to say what you think or something.

And I'm having a hard time resolving this statement...

9 times out of 10, you are seen with that dumbfounded look on your face like.. What in the world just happened? How cant this happen.... I am soooo confused.. Whats going on here??

The plain truth is we all know your history here when it concerns issues like Dave Wannstedt, and this is why when you come up with something like the statement above you get people, like myself, asking what makes you think you've got the credentials to give Dave Wannstedt advice on the philosophy of coaching, and you get people like Muck creating an entire hypothetical situation dripping with sarcasm that does nothing but mock the premise of not only this thread, but your personal arguments.

Thats no big secret.. I am the first to admit I think another coach could do more with this team than Wanny has/will.. But here we are in June, less than two weeks before pre-season starts and what could very well be Dave's last year.. It would be moronic for me.. or anyone else to continue to bash Dave...

I dont like Dave.. but I bought into the fact that he will be our coach.. also, I dont like Jay as our QB.. but I am intellegent enough to realise he is the best we have and therefore, I will support him..


So obviously.. you dont really know me.. or my history like you think you do.. and btw..

I wouldn't tell him anything that I'd be foolish enough to think would constitute advice... but I'd ask him about a couple things, like...

- even if Ricky's gonna be an every-down back this time around, are you going to sit the guy a lot more late in games then, just to lessen the odds of a possible injury?

- when a player is baited into a personal foul or commits one out of a failure to maintain self-discipline, what do you do or say to that player? What are you saying to players now in this regard, and what things do you consider doing when it happens?

- which 1970's pornstar do you find yourself trying to emulate most in your personal appearance? Do you have a personal favorite, or are you just trying to capture the look in a general way?
 
I'd tell him to buy every Ozzy, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden CD ever made and play them at practice every day.Also to play it at half time since we never make any changes anyway...lol jk

I wouldn't tell him anything about football, because he knows more than we ever will, but I would tell him to shave so he doesn't look like a 1970's porn star anymore.
 
I would ask him if his constant "smoothing" of his hair when he gets stressed out causes his hairline to receed faster. He could become the next spokesman for Rogaine. LOL
