If we win vs San Diego we have a favorable schedule.

what the hell does what carey did in the past have to do with the here and now??? and the last 2 years carey was at tackle even his play was steadily on the downswing

as for incog is he a good left guard fit in your opinion??? and if so...why???

colombos dreadful...said that when we signed him...his legs are shot...

You still haven't mentioned a single shred of evidence.

Carey's past performance speak to his expected future performance. An injury isn't going to scare me away from who was, until it happened, a great blocker. His play was on the downswing? 2009 saw him improve tremendously in pass coverage, although he did regress a bit in run blocking. I remember it well, I charted the entire season.

Incognito is solid, if unimpressive. Yes, he misses blocks, particularly in the passing game, but he has no help from the C, a thing that will only improve as Pouncey does. And his run blocking is devastating - watch the Texans game for a little sample.

so i take it you think careys play at guard has a lot do with him not being healthy and learning a new position more than him just looking washed up...his feet look slow to me and he's struggling with initial quickness off the snap and he's not getting out in front as a lead run blocker...i'm not sure i think injury is a part of the equation for what we saw so far this year at guard...i think he's just headed downhill very very fast

as for incog explain "devastating run blocker"...straight line pulling move to the 2nd level...please explain...

Carey has been awful. Downplay it all you want. Doesn't matter that he's switching position. His play has been declining for a couple years now. As for Incognito, he has not been better than Pouncey, not even close. Incognito is playing LG. A position that requires the most pulling on the line. Incognito is absolutely awful blocking in space/pulling.

I am going to need proof what is your evidence?

I definitely think Carey's problems last year were mostly about his knee, yes. This year? Position change. I don't think his knee is an issue anymore. Perhaps it's made him tentative - I do agree his quickness isn't showing - but we can agree to disagree. Time will tell.

As to Incognito, watch his play against the Texans. He took on Shaun Cody (IIRC) a lot, and he moved him plenty. I still haven't finished the 1H against Houston though. But I do have some data at hand: Check 8:04, 4:48 (pulling right) 3Q, 13:52 (though defender spins free at the end, he's only in position to tackle Bush because he jukes throughout the field) 4Q.

I also recorded his notable miscues, like at 9:29 and 8:59 in the 4Q (consecutive plays). But overall he did very nicely.

thats one game with incog...and shaun codys nothing special...but i do have that game on tape still so i'll check it out...

failed at posting an image, but yeah...i just don't see this happening.

the only teams we have a chance of beating on that list are denver and kc

What? We can beat the Jets, if they lose to the Ravens and Pats they will be coming off of a three game slide and we all know that they are a team built on confidence. We could easily hand them their fourth loss in a row.

When was the last time the Dolphins did something easy?

I never take inter division games for granted.

The NE game was a mess, but we limited the Texans to 23 points (they've scored 33 and 34 in their other two games - and they basically shut down at halftime against the Colts) and 17 for the Browns, including our first turnover and constant pressure on the QB. The OL problems can be basically traced back to Colombo.

Again, overall the team has played well.

 Cocaine is a helluva drug.

I lost hope for the season with the way we played/lost to Cleveland.... This team needs heart more than talent...

Miami beat up Oakland pretty easily last year. If the Jets have lost three in a row they will not be nearly as tough of a team. They are a team that plays completely off of confidence. Miami has been in recent years a team that plays to the level of their opponents, so we can upset really good teams but also lose games we should win like the Cleveland game. So none of the games on our schedule are guaranteed wins or losses.
