If you had to cut 10 players...

I agree with that....I think Martin will stick. He does one thing VERY well.

He plays some special teams as well.

But in Linehan's system, the TE's act as a lead blocker an awful lot. Plus, a lot of two tight end sets which means the FB is off the field. Evans will be the starting FB when we have one and I think Morris will stick with the team as a tweener. I doubt we keep three FB's so since Martin is a one trick pony...he has to go unfortunately.

Patrick Pass lined up as a TE in a few formations for NE...Martin is a tremendous blocker. If the TE as a lead blocker is important, i think that given our lack of depth at the TE Position (aside from RM and Diamond possibly) it might be yet another reason to keep Martin. We'll see though. I wouldnt be terribly shocked if he got outed because all he really does well is block, but then again hes fundametally tremendous in that area.

Oh yeah, clearly Feeley, Sage, and Brock have out-played him so far....DUDE! open your eyes...HE'S THE BEST WE HAVE!!!!!!
 
I know Mario Edwards and Howard arent that good but who else do we have? We cant afford to cut either of those guys.
 
Here's my list, try not to go too berserk ;) If any of these guys have already been dropped, let me know and I'll update.

QB Sage Rosenfels - We ain't keeping 4 guys and Sage never seems to get a shot. My conclusion - he isnt much good. Why not give Berlin a try.

RB Kay Jay Harris - I just dont see where a big back like him fits when we already have Ricky, Ronnie etc. I would rather keep Minor for his quickness.

FB Jamar Martin - dont dislike him, but I just dont see where he fits.

WR Danny Farmer - victim of our great depth here.

TE Alex Holmes - I'm hoping that Lee can start to get more consistent. If not he will probably be out the door soon.

G Taylor Whitley - enough has been said about this already

DL Chris Solomona & Matthew Walters - no reason other than I've never heard of them. They need to work harder to impress me or I'll cut their @sses. :)

LB Corey Jenkins - I think he will be the first to go because of his size.

P Donnie Jones - I dont think he has a serious shot at beating out Turk.
