Igbinoghene is a stud....

He had great defense on that deep pass early in the game. It wasn’t until the 3rd quarter he started giving up stuff

Interesting, personally I couldn't disagree more. Too tall, wrong body type for slot. More of a top end speed guy without the sudden change of direction needed to defend the slot IMO. I would NEVER put him in the slot. But you may be right because to date he hasn't been great on the boundary either.
He’s 5’11 and has ridiculous COD skills..

I was pleasantly surprised with Iggy today. I'm definitely in the camp that's worried about him and his progression. But I also know that Flo knows DBs better than anything. Iggy is a raw ball of clay for him to form. I trust him to get Iggy into shape eventually, even if it takes longer than we'd like.
The problem is that you draft balls of clay in the first round

Iggy is a insurance policy because of X knees and injury history plus he plays the position that Flores values higher than any position except perhaps QB. It's a passing league right so shutting down the pass is a top priority for this team. Don't believe that we drafted the first safty in this year's draft and used a 3 Rd rounder last year on Jones which many draftniks felt was high and Jones played well.

Yes, now a day, you never have too many CB. Must need insurance. The problem is, this policy dont pay.

This was bad pick by front office..I dont see this guy starting next 3 yr..

The way you put it, i agree to certain degree. It is not the kid's fault he was drafted first round.
However, if he drafted late round, given his performance so far, he has very little chance making the team. So my beef is, if you take the drafted position out of the equation, I rather keep other bubble players who is showing me more, but many wants to give him time.
There are few "bubble players" with his ceiling for one thing.

For another, yes, when you invest high assets knowing the return is likely down the road, as opposed to immediate, ppl tend to give the player more time.

Why is that an issue for fans?

Flo's call......Flo's a$$. Is that one bubble roster spot so important in the grand scheme? Or is it just a matter of impatience, and looking for something to bitch about?

Noah needs to improve each game. We have no way to know exactly what the coaches are looking for each time out.

Our coaches develop DBs well, (ie, Needham, Perry). They know if he's meeting their expectations in terms of improvement.

He has size and speed...he has had success at CB against great competition. Season one, he got better as the year progressed.

We have the luxury of developing him...or we'll make the decision to move on from him.

I'm rooting for him to do well.

Mach, I highly respect you as a poster but when you say his "ceiling" what is that? How do you quantify the ceiling on a guy who was not even an all conference performer and has limited time at his position? What has he shown to think he has a high ceiling?

Call me crazy but if I invest a high asset in something I expect pretty quick results. At least with Tua we have seen some flashes to give us hope for the future. This guy is getting roasted by camp fodder, guys that will be working and drinking beer on the couch in a couple of weeks.

The issue for fans is that while Grier did a masterful job fleecing teams on picks his drafting skills may negate the gain. We are holding out hope on Tua, Jackson has regressed, Iggy won't play over ANY CB on this team. That is three first round picks, as a fan yeah that concerns me.

You are correct it is Flo's call but with his age and draft slot you and I know he is not going anywhere. At this rate he will just be Charles Harris 2.0. I am not impatient I just don't see anything that makes me think he will break through.

That ogbinebinegi jersey wont even sell at goodwill.

Soon Ogbinogeni will selling water bottles in his hometown.

Jt mentioned he regressed this offseason . Its a qbs dream to have ogbinoseni covering his receiver.

Dont worry about me misspelling his name. We wont remember him soon.
