I'm Done With This Regime. For Serious.

This we had a top 5 D last year excuse is getting old! Did that look like a top 5 D Monday night? Total yards are useless when your D can't cover a ****ing te for 3+ years! Total yards are useless when you can't generate a game changing turnover! Total yards are useless when you let Cleveland, Detroit, and Buffalo drive down the field on you in your house at will!

These guys are simply in over their heads. Those of us that point out their inadequacies get labeled fake fans and are told to go cheer for some other team because we dont have blind faith in a regime that hasnt earned our faith.

well dont you think having a brand new offense and no OTAs while they have had the same offense for years and a vet QB has something to do with that smh

Ys so. If Allen can be resigned, and he is to leap frog other players on the depth chart, because he is better. Then it was fairly short sighted to release him to start with. What we did this to save money? Well we didn't. And since when was saving money our biggest need. I think the quality of the "team product" should be higher up the needs.

I think what bothers me the most is how out of shape the team was..
Is tony running any conditioning drills?
My Sister runs 100 mile marathons and would have done a better job defending the pass.

This team needs to get back to the basics and run more
No scheme in the world will save them if they cant breathe..

everyone with eyes knew........ but you waited until after the game to throw one of your hissy fits, ofcourse.
im done with these knee jerk, crybaby, captain hindsight fans. pathetic. Thats the problem with todays world, grown men acting like little girls.

Yea, none of what I said has been discussed at great length all offseason. You right.

If he did have arguments he would have presented them...

They have nothing...Except BLIND FAITH.

Everyone complains about the term hater, but then there are dudes like this guy who calls anyone who isn't upset blind or homers. It's worse than the PoFo up in here...

I understand the frustration, but you have to take into account the 1 game factor.

What was the problem last night? Defense. Miami had a top 6 defense last year, I find it hard to believe they won't get it together.

The O-line appeared to be better then expected and Henne and the offense look competant in that game.

At the end of the day Miami lost a game they were supposed to lose. Up until that 4th and 1 play it was a close game and with 9 mins left in the game Miami was still in it. Doesn't seem like an embarassment to me.

Miami lose to the team Vegas has winning the SB. Miami was competitve for 51 mins of the game.

What's the problem? This wasn't the Cleveland Browns. It was a loss to the team expected to be in the SuperBowl.

I don't see 4 offseasons and no upgrade. I saw a more explosive offense, a better O-line and a better QB.

I don't see how we can look at last night and say it's the same glaring weaknesses when it was the offense that did it's job and the #6 defense that looked bad. If anything, last night was the exact opposite of the last 4 years

Every complains about the term hater, but then there are dudes like this guy who calls anyone who isn't upset blind or homers. It's worse than the PoFo up in here...
I think "homer" and "hater" need to be added to the censor list. "Jets" too.

And if you still had faith in their evaluations coming into this year:

1. Everyone with eyes knew our line outside of Pouncey and Long was God awful. Multiple FAs became available that could help improve the line. We didnt sign any. Didnt even entertain the thought of signing any. Its like they couldnt see that Columbo is a disaster and our Guards can't move when every fan could plainly see it. This board was full of O-line threads. They need to spend a first rounder on a lineman because otherwise, they have zero idea how to evaluate line talent. Thats obvious from our FA moves and later draft picks.

2. Everyone with eyes knew that we needed a RB that could pound the ball inside. Bush has never done it and probably never will consistently. Thomas hasn't looked the part all offseason and we could see that. Why not keep Ricky? Sign Barber on the cheap? Nope. We would rather get into 3rd and short and goal line situations and be totally incapable of running. The Pats knew it too. it was obvious to anyone paying attention. And its awesome how we are working out washed up garbage after the season starts. Way to put a screen door on the submarine. Nice job.

3. We have ZERO CB depth. Zero. Zilch. Nada. None. if Vontae or Smith go down at any point this year we are royally ****ed. Not "oh, that sucks. We would be better with Vontae". Im talking "Holy **** our secondary only has one boundary CB and a "hole in zone" on the other side" kinda ****ed. You better pray to whatever diety or object you pray to that neither of them go down. And this FO is wayyyy too incompetent to notice that we have no depth there, so they cut a decent veteran in Will Allen. Arent they supposed to know this type of stuff? Go into the season with two CBs. great decision FO. Good job. Got my confidence.

4. Way to start a woefully unprepared Reshad Jones. Hell, its not like we had a decent player beched for him. just throw that dude right out there. Who gives a damn if he knows whats going on or not. ****, he might get an INT between the 46 blown coverages. Clemons doesnt get those. Youd think that Sparano and Ireland could combine to see that he wasnt ready yet, but I guess thats a bit much to ask given their track record.

5. Solid conditioning out there. Definitely inspired my confidence in the coaching when players are out there cramping so hardcore that they can barely bother to touch a player rolling into the endzone. That was awesome. Pretty cool how our entire defense is using up the worlds supply of oxygen tanks. Im pretty sure they caused at least one person with emphysema to die. Theres no way we didnt significantly lower the world supply of those tanks last night. Nice job Sparano. Nice job S&C coach. Props to you guys.

6. Once again, we have nobody to return a kick worth a damn. Youd think that in the span of 2 offseasons you could find someone who can do that, but apparently not. I stand corrected. Even if we had a guy though, would we even utilize him? We refused to use Ginn on punts and all he does with the Niners is run them back for TDs.

7. Im tired of typing. You fill in the rest. Im sure I missed something. I just worked myself into a rage again.

1) The O-line wasn't the problem last nite. It looked better then it has for almost 2 years now. It showed signs of improvement.
2) This is a more aggressive spread offense. The specialty never was to look for a RB to grind down the middle. Reason we looked more into a Bush type RB then Bradshaw. Same reason we are looking at a guy like Brian Westbrook. The offesnsive style doesn't warrant a RB that grinds it up the middle. Though, I do understand your point this is needed.
3) CB depth isn't and hasn't really been a problem. Our FS has been a problem. But i don't recall on our 6th ranked defense CB depth being a hot topic on these boards. But yes, the team messed up by letting Allen go.
4) I agree on Jones. But that was a 50/50 street. They started the guy who had the potential to be more of a playmaker. You expect these growing pains. Every young DB makes this. But it's not like we had Polamalu on this team. WE HAD Clemons who many wanted to replace. I would not have been satisfied if Clemons was the starter. So Jones played, stunk up the joint and now we will probably go back to Clemons. But, once again, these are expected growing pains. To call out Jones is also unfair. None of the defense looked prepared. Most of them were out of place. So to single out Jones is not reasonable when the whole defense was a joke. I doubt Clemons would have made the difference.
5) Conditioning to my knowledge has never been an issue. So to use that and say it signifies and has been a problem for the last 4 years is just not accurate.
6_ Kicking game I agree. Has stunk for years. But they went with the speedster Gates, who last I check is who many on this board wanted. They didn't want Bess returning kicks. So they played the speedster. After 1 game it's hard to critiscize this guy. Give him a chance. But to me, getting Bush and Gates is trying to upgrade that aspect of the team.

So out of your 6 points, only 1 or 2 really have validity to the issues we have had over the last 4 seasons.

The O-line seems to be better and wasn't the problem last nite. You may not like the guys we got over the options out there, but the line did look better.

This regime tried to upgrade the return game, it's not fair after 1 game to judge it. They tried to address it and upgrade, whether it works out or not is a different story.

So, I see these being issues on the team, but they don't reflect the last 4 years as being the same. As a matter of fact, half of your issues seem to be a 1 game phenomenon.

I would seriously like to see a post from you stating conditioning and CB depth, not safety, but CB depth was an issue prior to this last offseason. If you can show that then I will stand corrected and conced my whole post LOL

On board with that too. Those terms get overplayed too much around here, just blanket statements really.
