I'm out

I'm flat done with caring about this stuff until April. I am not going to stop being a fan of the team, but this crew of losers just doesn't deserve my passion.

40 years and you're ringing the bell, pretty much sums it up. It's difficult to root for such a terrible organization. It really is.
I agree.

Some of you can say what you want, but I wasted more time than some of you were alive. When you've wasted 40 Years worth of Sundays for this dumpster fire, come back and talk to me

I do understand but remember the courage to be loyal is the legacy you pass on and be a better person for it. Look at your family and this will be put in perspective.

just lower your expectations man. this team will probably never win a super bowl in our lifetime. i dont really understand why anyone would watch or follow this team but i guess we all hang on to the notion that "one of these years" it will be our year. ive been saying that for 31 years...i guess i just expect this team to let me down EVERY year.

Done wasting my time with this garbage team. 40+ years of disappointment is enough. They're not going anywhere this year, next year or probably for a long time. Good luck with your high hopes year in and year out only to find out that they're garbage again.

Disappointed no more

I hate to break it to you but... you'll be back.

I am not a person who lowers expectations, I expect your best efforts every day

You might want to start with your own grammar and punctuation. Just a thought.

I really don't care what you think of my grammar or punctuation, who the hell are you... My English teacher?

Out of curiosity, is this going to be an excessively long, drawn out exit? Did you need more attention?

If you're going, go. You have every right to. Nobody's stopping you.

Been a fan since the early seventies and I'm in Kansas. Guess I'm spoiled from the Shula years. Been to several games in Miami and across the country. I've had the ticket since the mid nineties. I've got more memorabilia than I know what to do with. Yet I keep paying for Sunday ticket and have the same optimism every year. Maybe I'm getting old and out of touch but I don't remember players being this out of control like they are now. Jeff Ireland should have been fired long ago and that is entirely on Ross. The debacle that is the Miami Dolphins is so out of control it's embarrassing to be a fan. I like Philbin but I don't think he's right for the job. We need a fiery coach that relates to players. That's all I got. Depressed finsfan in Ks

Of course he'll be back. But I don't blame him for feeling like this.

See this is part of the problem right here. There should be a period after "punctuation" and then a comma after "you" rather than an ellipsis, followed by a lower case "m" in "my". Like this:

I really don't care what you think of my grammar or punctuation. Who the hell are you, my English teacher?

All I ask is that you not be a person who lowers his expectations and gives his best effort every day. I'm sure your English teachers told you this all the time, but you were too busy skipping class and telling them you'd never come back. Which of course you did.

Neither do I. It's why I was sorry to break it to him.

Saints fans got theirs.

Oilers/Titans fans made it there.

Tampa Bay fans got theirs.

Rams fans got theirs.

They suffered for decades. They got theirs.

I'm as frustrated as anyone, and I've waited 40 years, too. As of last night, I think the management team needs to be burned to the ground and started anew.

But it's pretty clear that Ross cares. Is he an out-of-touch owner? Sure. But he cares. He wants to win at all costs.

That's more than a lot of franchises can say.

I'll be here until I die, or there are no more Miami Dolphins.

If you want out...get out. God speed.

I added a couple commas for you, Grammar Lad.
