I'm So ****ing Angry!

Not much going on in sports which is why this story is so huge. Can't hate on the 2 time champ heat so they ran with this crap of a story. This is stupid anyone who has ever been in a group with men knows this happens. Whether its in the military or in sports, man the fuk up and get going. Want to stop being bullied stand up for yourself just once and even if u get your ass kicked you will begin to gain some respect.

I only care about winning and playing well. all that stuff is whole lot of bull**** to me. obviously martin is done so who cares.

I just wish we could get back to football. When this story left espn/sports media and hit the mainstream media I knew we were in trouble. My mother (huge dolphin fan too) called me saying they were talking about our mess on The View. The oldass bitches on the View who don't know squat about the NFL, let alone a locker room.

Plus, as an attorney myself I can see this was all calculated by the Martin camp and they are totally using the PR machine. Shameful, this should have been kept in house and handled like a man. I was a nerd in school and was near the top of my class I would get **** all the time from my teammates. You talk trash back, sack up, and call the "bully" out, that's how respect is earned. Plus, I'm mixed race myself (Carribean, black/white) been called "half-N", "house-N" on many occasions by friends/teammates never bothered me any b/c it was razzing and not racial as context is everything.

Phins play the Bucks Monday Night and I wish we could just focus on that, but we know Monday is just another negative PR platform to crucify our beloved Dolphins.

Angry? Yeah right. This is beautiful. This might be the final dose of medication we need to get Ireland & co outta here.

I am taking the attitude that in 10 yrs we will look back and see this as being the best think to happen to this Franchise since Marino was drafted....Ross will have no other choice but to clean house, not fire 1 or two people but clean it up...if he makes the right choices we will be fine....
If he does that "We" won't include me, unless there is tangible proof that Philbin dropped the ball somehow AND it was negligent.

You pick your general and you stick with him while he builds a winner in the model he described to you when you hired him. If you never allow him to complete the model, then you were never serious about building a winner.

I get where you're coming from, but personally, I'm not angry about the situation. To be honest, I've kind of enjoyed this drama and the speculation and nonsense that goes with it. The Miami Dolphins has been a losing organization for a number of years now, and apparently a really a dysfunctional one, as well. It's possible that this will be the catalyst that spurs much needed changes from the very top of the organization on down -- a total culture change for the better -- and maybe give people a reason to cheer for this crew once again.

I almost never watch television news programs and I especially don't watch ESPN, NFLN, or other sports news or analysis programs. So, this situation has also served as a reminder for me of why I generally just leave the television off.

Now, as for this whole situation in general: Richie Incognito and Jon Martin are both, for lack of a better term, social retards. They fit right in with folks like Jeff Ireland and Dawn Aponte, known throughout the league as a couple of people with limited social graces who somehow continue to hold positions of power in our organization despite a track record of failure. Our head coach, who I think may actually turn out to be a good coach (if he survives), is a guy who reads from cue cards in his postgame speeches. Steve Ross is a terrible public speaker.

In short, our franchise basically lacks presence. Ryan Tannehill seems like he has some, but I'm not convinced he has the take charge attitude to step up and save this entire franchise from a complete and utter lack of charisma, inspiration, and leadership. It's pitiful, but I actually support hiring Jon Gruden -- a coach I have a number of very serious reservations about -- simply because he would bring precisely that to this franchise. Even if it's not good leadership, at least it's leadership.

EDIT: For the record, by "culture change," I don't mean "guidelines against bullying" and stuff like that. I mean basic stuff, like not totally pissing off Randy Starks, Paul Soliai, and every other player you've ever negotiated with. I mean not having a policy of secrecy when dealing with the media that makes Bill effing Belichick look open and personable. I mean not probably causing this entire stupid sordid mess by threatening to move Jon Martin to the NFI list so you can save a few thousand dollars. In other words, get the people with the social aptitude of a wet noodle out of positions where they have to make decisions and then communicate them to other parties.

For me, the clock is ticking on my patience. Another reloading, house cleaning, whatever . . . for whatever fad coach does not work for me. We've HAD so-called great coaches with presence. Does Jimmy Johnson, Nick Saban, Bill Parcels ring a bell? All they did was set us back many years because they QUIT! They all abandoned us early in the rebuilding process for THIER vision of a winner. Thus, they set us up for our current long streak of non-competitiveness because the players they brought in and partially developed didn't fit what the next coach needed for HIS vision.

Unless Philbin has committed some heinous crime during his short tenure as our HC, he MUST be given the chance to complete the work. If not, the Dolphins are dooming themselves to continued mediocraty for the near and far future, IMO.

I'm not mad. Go 4-12 and Ireland's the one in the war room deciding between which o-line position to address in the first round and I'll get mildly upset.

I have come to the conclusion that Ireland will be packing his bags soon.

I wish we could just move this team out of Miami and start fresh in a town that actually shows up regardless of situation.

I wish ESPN was an objective reporting media outlet but it calls Rush Limbaugh a racist for saying Mcnabb overrated and pushed by media for a successful black QB. Which I agree everytime a black QB gets all the love in the world

CAM! RGIII (where's the greatness now?) Wilson (now getting questioned). Tannehill, eh

The world is becoming the Hunger Games. slowly, brick by brick. Soon you wont be able to choose your doctor. Obama will. liar.
