There are 2 examples of this clearly hurting the team & one near miss. get to coaching in a minute.
1. Ditching Tedd Ginn. We all saw his problems over the course of the 2 years he was here, but it was clear the obvious abilities he had. there was no reason to jettison him & KR/PR is still killing this team.
2. Cutting Polite w/o clear replacement. We all saw his struggles last year & somewhat in pre-season. But again he had a specific necessary skill that w/o leads to fiasco's down near the GL like last night. Solia as a lead blocker? That was embarrassing. With Polite we score that TD. No doubt in my mind. He should be called back now.
Near miss..
1. Henne. Due to impulse they nearly tossed him overboard even though it was super clear to most that Henning was a disastrous OC & clouded any real judgment you could make on Henne.
Bad coaching is a real issue. Going to the wrong player in key situations. Leaving some possible contributors on the sidelines. making the same mistake over & over. Not making adjustments. It needs correcting immediately.
