In depth look at Kenneth Grant and Draft Grades/Reactions

Where’d you find that info was looking for his double team stats. Someone said they were watching Graham highlights and they noticed in grahams highlights the amount of double teams he took on was crazy so I watched grahams highlights and sure enough he was right but couldn’t find this info anywhere.
Yea that was me 😂

Also was talking to Ryan Smith of PFF on twitter this morning and he posted the stats

Haha thanks for the tip yeah you were right and stats appear to prove it. He may never be sexy getting 10 sacks a year but he’s going to free up Sieler/chop/chubb/phillips while closing the pocket and forcing guys like Mahomes/allen out of the pocket early and that’s how you win games.

I dont like this pick. I think there were some CB's that we should have gone for. I also hate that we drafted a DT 5 years ago in Wilkins, and we're just replacing him. It just feels like were treading water here.

Replacing Wilkins with a much younger and cheaper option. We couldn't have afforded to keep both Wilkins and Tua. Tough decision but I think we made the right one.

I am just tired of drafting players in the first round with "Upside" or as you stated "refined 3rd down pass rushing situations", I would have taken Warren and had him an Smith running double tight end sets ALL DAY LONG. Perfect for Tuas quick hits. Plus Warren is the same size a Gronk and can block, so he would help our OL tremendously. It was a bad reach and pick and all analysts appear to agree. To get a C or C- on a 13th pick is just embarrasing.
To be worried about what "grade" talking heads give a draft pick before he has even played a down in the NFL is more embarrassing.

Damn, weak on block shedding. Very low sack numbers. Which I know isn't everything for a DT but Grier said they picked him to get pressure up the middle. Doesn't look like that's his strength.
Nolen or Harmon would have made more sense if we want to add pass rush to the DT position.

If he turns out to be this generations Tim Bowens I won't complain.

D from BR. Why you do us so dirty Bleacher?!

How can anyone seriously give the Jags an A for giving up that much draft capital for someone who isn't a QB? He doesn't even have a set position yet and there is zero chance of this fantasy that he plays both ways full time. If I was a Jags fan I'd be fuming right now with the front office.

Dude is 21 and you guys are questioning if he can play in the South Florida heat? LMAO, just stop. Okay, so here we go......we don't play well in the cold, so he is use to that and will do better than a player we drafted from the south. Ya, your argument is that silly.

Grant may end up being a very good pick for us and could help turn our DL into a strength, but leading up to the draft I didn't see a single Dolphin fan anywhere say "Gee....I hope we draft Kenneth Grant with our 1st Round pick. That would be awesome!!!!"

I could hear the sounds of deflated Dolphin fans everywhere when that pick was made.

I was really hoping we would have landed Booker and have to wonder if they would have taken him if he wasn't picked right before our turn.

Miami used every second of the clock. I have no doubt they wanted to trade back with so many good options on the board but no one really standing out from the pack. It takes 2 to trade, so we picked our guy. Definitely fills a need and potentially gives us the best Nose tackle we’ve had in a long time.
I wonder if Loveland had fallen to 13 if trade offers would have been there? That was the pre-draft speculation. But we'll never know.
