In one sentence I will put the Juwan James selection into perspective.

Judge: Wasnt that GM so terrible he was fired?

Lawyer: um...

Judge: Contempt. Hire a new lawyer and come back to court.

The Fins have tried the scrap heap (as so many are advocating) for years with crappy results. Definition of insanity - " doing the same thing and expecting different results."

Judge: lawyer for the prosecution is hereby remanded to a mental institution.

All I can say is our running game is going to be awful again this year. Between he and Albert manning the outside, teams are still going to be able to crash and close off the outside. Lord knows we have no pure inside runners to speak of.

Hyde or mason will help there

Longer arms means you cant bench press :sidelol:

Awesome.

I can only speak for myself, but it's definitely been an issue for me. It's because of how the weight gets distributed vs. someone with stubby little T-rex arms. It's actually why my triceps are over-developed compared to my chest.

When you have longer arms its harder to bench that's fact

Everyone knows that except Spesh, who was getting stuffed into lockers while everyone else was in weight training in high school.

Yes, because taking a tackle high in the draft is something we've never done before.

Holy ****, this forum :sidelol:

Arms have muscles. Even long arms.

This isnt a problem for, say, virtually every other long arm prospect that is worthy of a selection.

Weak prospect is weak.

He did 22 reps @225. The worst an OT did in that category was 21. He's weak.

So maybe he wasn't a weight room warrior? I am more interested in his blocking ability than how much he benches. He can get a lot stronger now that he is a pro.

You're not hearing me. I also saw you chose to ignore the article about bench press physics.

You mean the pro-bowl player? Jake Long

How about the multi-year starter at RT Vernon Carey (the last good RT we had by the way).

By all means, lets wait until the 2nd and get a Jon Martin clone instead. Get a clue.

Well..lets see if I can put in terms you can understand...look up center of gravity. And longer arms doesnt mean you cant bench press..it means its more work for a guy with 35 inch arm length to press 225...then it is for a guy with 30 inch

We got him, by reaching in the 1st. By all indications they're similar players (especially being finesse), except Martin played LT in college.
