There is a reason he never got to start a majority of starts elsewhere. HE also got the job by default he won nothing. He lost his job in Carolina and that's why he was with us. They continually were drafting players to replace him so lets quit acting like philbin is the only coach that didn't want to start him. MAtt Cassel played quite well when he had the same chance, as for team MVP who cares , it just shows how garbage the rest fo the team was that year. You act like he is the only backup to come in and play well when a starter got hurt.
Scott Mitchell did the same here.

Of course we know what offers we have. In this day and age that leaks all the time don't be naive
If Moore is comfortable being a backup player, that's probably why he hasn't achieved anything greater than being a backup player in the league. Is that really the type of guy you want leading your team?
That's BS and he has said as much. He openly lamented how important it was for him to be given the chance to start somewhere when he was a free agent. But it boils down to more than that. What kind of contract are teams offering? What was the QB competition like? What about having to move his family again?
Dude was 29 at that time and at some point he has to be honest with himself about the rational thing to do.
I don't really get what your angle is or what you're trying to prove. Do you honestly believe that Moore is capable of performing better than Tannehill?
You can bring up the Bills game but it doesn't really prove anything. As dlockz said, it's happened before. Hell, I'm pretty sure garbage QBs like Tyler Thigpen came in at some point and led our ailing team to victory. It's probably a lot easier to just come in and sling the ball around 14 games into the season when you haven't been slammed into the ground repeatedly every Sunday for the last 14 games. It's pretty obvious that Tannehill towards the end of the year was a bit beat up and struggling. That doesn't mean Moore is the better option or even a good QB.
that game did show that Moore cannot be counted on to come in and play well, which is kinda what you want from a back-up...
So you're saying you don't know what the offers were. Like I thought.
Where the hell did I make the argument he won the starting job in 2011? Imaginary much? I pointed out that he went from backup 9th inning ringer to being elected team MVP. Now please, show me another example of that and why it should be overlooked.
Had you paid any attention to what transpired in Carolina it boils down to regime change multiple times and the one season he was installed as the starter he got injured. By the time he was healthy in week 7 this season was over for that Carolina team as they were absolutely ravaged by injuries.

obviously if teams thought he was that good they would have offered more
What's the going rate for good then Professor dlockz?
the going rate is paying him starter money or offering a higher pick for him
