in your eyes how long b4 we win a SB

Things can change in a hurry in the NFL and you don't need to have all the pieces to win either. The AFC is definitely up for grabs. Baltimore is aging on defense, the Patriots need to rebuild the defense and Tom Brady is 34, Pittsburgh has some problems on the offensive line. Texas looks like an up and coming team that could be a couple players away. I would say this is a critical offseason for Miami, though. Obviously, the Dolphins have to make the right decision at qb and the qb has to work out in a big way. I'd say the Dolphins win the Super Bowl in 2015.

I remember them last winning the SB in January, 1974...I was about 8 years old. So basically anytime before I am in the old folk's home and crapping in my Depends would work for me!!!!

I remember that too, I was 16 years old. I will be happily shocked if they win it again in my lifetime.

Good point. I do not see a powerhouse team in the AFC. Also, the Patriots will not out condition the league early next year. I can see them going 10-6, so there is an opportunity to get into the mix.

Oh man, Roman. I was 10 and in the four years that I had followed the NFL my team, the Miami Dolphins, had gone to three super bowls winning two. It was a pretty young team too and I just expected those titles to keep coming. Definitely some entertaining years, but it's been a long, long time since 1974. I do have a good feeling about this new coaching staff, though. Hopefully we can build a dynasty.

It's very, very possible that Miami can get two impact players in this draft and maybe another in free agency. That doesn't seem impossible with the 8/9 pick in a draft that seems pretty loaded. The right coaching can turn other players around too, maybe Clyde Gates gets more opportunities and reaches his potential. Suddenly, the Dolphins are an entirely different team. Obviously, the powers that be have to make the right decisions.

If we make the right moves this and next offseason, I can see us winning it within the next 4-5 yrs. (Possibly within the next 2 if we pick up Manning+some guards)

i think its unrealistic to think signing manning will make us a superbowl team . let me see he has played 11 years and has one superbowl ring so the odds are not as great as some here expect

I fully expect the Robbie Bowl to go without a title from the Dolphins, regardless of number of decades or number of millions wasted in patchwork.

You don't make a mistake of that magnitude and be rewarded or excused.

I just hope I'm still around when we relocate.
