Incognito tweets Schefter - AWESOME!!

HAHA! I love it. ESPN has been a ****ing tabloid for the longest time! It seems like they hired their leadership from TMZ. They are a far cry from what they used to be.
 
players were just trying to get Martin to show some fire and play with some passion and a chip and it backfired cuz Martin internalized it and went the other way.
His teammates needed him to just take the rookie hazing in stride and then bond with them as a MAN on the O-line. It's a shame that Martin couldn't be a man. They just wanted him to step up and be accountable to his responsibilities and eventually got mad and got dark and mean and that just made things worse.

I still think Martin will be back at practice tomorrow.
 
They're saying now that Incognito 'intimidated' Martin to provide $15,000.00 toward a trip to Vegas for the guys on the OL?

Really? First it was, they slurred his family, now "he's extorting me." What's next? How much of this crap is actually true?

Jon Martin needs to just come out and ****in address the situation.
 
It looks like we're going to have to wait till this situation runs it's course to make a proper judgement either way.
 
So I learned two things today.

Adam Shefter is complete gargage who cannot be trusted with information as a highly touted media person

Richie Incognito will be no longer a Miami Dolphin next year.

Joe Philbin has a million times better chance of being here than Richie Incognito because regardless of RI's innocence here, this is just not what Philbin wants long term.

This OL next year will look completely different.

Once again, I would like to see you in a dark alley with martin and tell him he is not a man. lol
 
Am I being insensitive by suggesting Martin needs to just put his tampon back in and get back on the field?

Nobody likes an ******* and a bully, either. And nobody likes someone who is "weak". Martin needs to make a full accounting rather than hoping the issue goes away and he can sneak back into the door without anybody noticing. If he does that and people think he was too sensitive, then so be it. If he does that and people think, "wow, Richie Incognito is a rabid ******* who should not be employed, not just by the NFL but by anybody", then so be that, too.

You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. The only way NFL teams are going to feel comfortable putting him on a roster is if they don't think a) he's emotionally vulnerable, b) he's liable to air dirty laundry without a good reason. The only way out for him is to make Incognito look like a complete jerk (for which he better have proof). That's the only way he'll garner sympathy. The problem for Martin is that making Incognito look like a jerk is going to make the team look bad for not stopping the jerk. I'm sure he doesn't want that but at this point it's the only thing he can do.
 
I hope Richie, sues all of them. These guys are going nuts on him at ESPN. I don't know where Shefter is getting his info from, to talk about $15,000 for a trip. But apparently there is someone who is clearly providing info/speculation to ESPN. I hate all of those guys at that network. I haven't watched any NFL preview shows, draft shows or anything NFL related at ESPN. I do like watching their Saturday College Football coverage, Todd McShay, Kevin Carter and Jesse Palmer among others are good analyst.
 
Be careful Richie, you r takin on the evil multi billion $$$$ empire..... I really hope Richie and the Dolphins can come out of this as the innocent party......the commentators from the dark side really need to be served some humble pie

That statement from the Dolphins tells me that Martin never went to Philbin to have any kind of bullying stop. And there was no union investigation. The media reports are completely irresponsible.

While I do think they rided Martin a lot, I never really believed it was anything unusual or not seen before in NFL lockerooms. These are the trenches, and guys are counting on you. You are physically getting beat down on the field, and at any moment you could be on IR, or your quarterback could be on IR because you failed to do your job. And since the O line works as a team, it does matter what the guy next to you is doing, and how hard he's working.

I honestly don't think Martin is cut out to be in the NFL. That's what it's starting to look like to me. How do you just walk away from your team?
 
Let me ask you guys this......If a cornerback is out there during a game..trash talking,taking shots at a recievers family and threatening him...Is that bullying?
Not to me..but whats the difference? if its on a team or opposing teams?
