Interesting quote by Marshall after the game

confidence by commitee. Chad Henne cant seem to develop confidence on his own so it is a good thing his teammate are helping him along.

He’s taking control over the huddle. He’s just going out there and playing football. He’s talented, he’s got the arm. He’s one of the smartest guys in the NFL- Brandon Marshall.

How do you read his comments and still come to this conclusion? You have a disease that needs to be cured, because even haters have their limits. So after watching what he did the past two games, your eyes are really telling your brain that Chad has no confidence? Really, I think it's so sad when you see the obvious and still have to lie to yourself, what a miserable life.

Lets hope he continues to progress. Better pocket presence and accuracy and he'd be a great QB. I do see him getting better overall so hopefully the progress continues. Also I never buy into what players/coaches say when talking about their collegues. Its all just coachspeak really. Watch the games and theres your answers. No need to listen to interviews.

first in with "he's supposed to say that..but what does he say in private":chuckle::crazy:

Anyhow, not to beat a dead horse but the right side of the line is so bad you only need to rush four people to get a jailbreak kind of rush on us and we're fools if we think Belicheck doesn't know that. I hope the reporters are brushing up their most accusing questions for exactly what Sparano was looking at when he "looked at the film" on Columbo's play last year. I sincerely have no idea.

Exactly. This improved play from Henne won't mean squat when Belicheck crashes the right side or our line on Henne's first drop back and a Patriot rusher sends Henne to the hospital. Then it will be Matt Moore's turn to get his bell rung through the turnstile that is the Columbo-Carey combo.

It wasn't just Henning. David Lee was a big part of the problem. Sometimes we give him a pass because he was the architect of the Wildcat, but he failed at developing Henne just as much as he succeeded at implementing the 'cat.
Yea David Lee was the one scolding Thigpen and Marshall as they improvised and helped to manage the only score in the 38-7 game against the pats, because they went against the "gameplan"

Its one thing to go against the coaches and gameplan if the gameplan is a proven commodity, but it was broken and like senile old men, they stuck the course until the end.

I love the open offense and the whole spreading the field, bombing it deep idea. Who the hell needs a steady running game with that passing attack. I hope Henne keeps playing well and keeps taking shots. I wouldn't mind him dumping off to Bush earlier in a play either, the guy makes moves in the open field.

I hate to break it to you, but the only reason they have confidence in him is because he has confidence in himself. Those throws hes making now are CONFIDENT throws, hes CONFIDENT in this new system, and hes breeding confidence in this lockerroom/ huddle as a leader (stated by many players).

I appreciate the attempt at a knock but you gotta step it up.
. Well said sir.

Good point

Henne right now is not the problem..it's the enemic running game that is the biggest concern right now.

BOSTON:

At this point henne is but a secondary thought ... the o-line has risen to the biggest problem we have by far. Nice work O-line guru.
