Interesting, I always wanted a Shanahan here when Tannehill was here. I like Tua in a WC offense. That's why I am high on Pederson, his WC offense infused with RPO seems almost perfect for Tua.

I'd like to see an uptempo version of what Joe Gibbs (12 personnel w/ lots of motion) used w/ Washington back in the day.

p.s. My preference was Mike S (Instead Wild eyes was hired). He would have done wonders w/ Tannehill & Ajayi

I will say this as well, I am a HUGE admirer of the scheme McDaniel comes from. While he has followed Kyle Shanahan every stop he's been, he has also had exposure to coaches like Gary Kubiak, Mike and Matt Lefleur, and Sean McVay. So IF he were to be the guy you'll be looking for assistants from those staffs. I think guys like Tua, Waddle, Gesicki (if resigned) would be next level guys.

Is it similar to the same scheme that Mike Shanahan had? The one that utilizes smaller OL and churns out 1k running backs like an assembly line? I'd prefer someone with experience but I wouldn't be mad about this.

If we go with a young offensive guy. I would like to see a strong defensive hire like Vic Fangio (just like McVay hired Wade Philips to start). Also I don't want to see another first time offensive line coach.

I don’t like this one. Very inexperienced even for an OC candidate. He was only OC for a year.

He’s been an offensive assistant for 15 years
