Hopefully Chad Henne is not a part of any future plans with the Dolphins. I think we know what the guy is after four seasons. He sucks, let him go up to New York with Meatball Morono.

Soliai and Langford are both very good 3-4 linemen.

If we stay in the 3-4, I think Ireland finds a way to keep both.

If not, McDaniel could play Langford's spot or Starks could slide over and Odrick could play the RDE spot.

Soliai is a must resign if we stay with a 3-4.

Wish he would have been asked:

a)why Ross had to step in to veto the Orton trade- a deal that should never have been considered at all

Ireland has consistently been conservative with Free Agents. I doubt that Ross vetoed the trade. I believe Ireland made that decision. Do you have even circumstantial evidence to make this claim?

b)why he himself didn't step in to steer Ross away from a mediocre ground and pound HC with control issues having only 6 winning seasons out of 17 yet was being courted like a beautiful virgin princess

Is this a joke? When would he have done that?

c)exactly how did the decision to draft wee Patty White go down - and was everyone sober?

The idea that Ross stepped in to vetoe a trade is likely another idea that has been completely fabricated by the media.

Salguero and one of his "sources" claimed it was a Ross veto. A couple of days before that report, Barry Jackson said it was Ireland who nixed the idea citing his asking price didn't match Ireland's evaluation of his value. I'll take Barry Jackson's reports over Salguero's any day of the week.

The Pat White pick was Parcells, and even before Bill admited to it, I knew it had his slobbering handprints all over it.

In 2009, after the 2008 season had just ended, there was an article that Bill a few years earlier was talking about White like he was destined to be the next great QB, and because of Miami success with the WC, the reporter that wrote that article said not to be surprised if Bill convinces everyone that they need to take White in the Draft.

Exactly what i want to hear! Although the jimmy graham stuff is disturbing. If i know for sure i gotta have this player (andrew luck, rg3) you do anything and everything to get him. In business its called pulling the trigger.

i'd guess the inside track ireland has regarding rg3 is that they are both baylor alums.

I would love to re-sign both Solai & Langford. Forget signing expensive FA, re-sign the players who perform and build through draft!

I would re-sign Chad Henne.

I would also sign Flynn or draft Tannehill and trust in the choices of Philbin & Sherman.

Lets face it, when you look around the NFL, a 26 yr old 3rd string QB, with a rating of 79 is far better than most. IMO Henne did show slight improvement, an I think he has more talent than Devlin.

I hate this. The comment that Langford is a " great player". The comment that Odrick is a "pressure player". These guys are not
Impact players at all! Odrick is a first round pick and has hardly played like it. Throw in the Henne comment and I am left with only one word : CLUELESS
Patience? How many years of below .500 before fans have the right to expect more?

6 sacks as a DE in a 3-4 is pretty god damn good. I wish I knew how many pressures is had as well. NOt bad for a guy who missed all last year.

Ireland on Big 105.9 says he is speaking to radio stations today because the Fins need to be more available to the media and this is all part of the new regime.

That dwarfs everything else he said. Personnel decisions will come and go, but if the organization continues to disdain the media and take fans for granted with a smug silent approach, it deserves every empty seat, negative column and antagonistic banner.

I tried to emphasize that years ago, greeted with plenty of "who cares?" responses here, from the type who consider the media the enemy. The possibility of a title is so fractional that you have to do the right things from a PR standpoint all year long, to build a reservoir of trust and benefit of a doubt. Right now the media is so conditioned to being ignored by Ireland that the radio hosts and columnists naturally will slant everything against him, and therefore against the organization.

You already have a stadium with the personality and warmth of a cardboard box. It was quite brilliant to think the general manager could follow suit, and yet no harm would occur within the community.

I'll be interested to see if Gator Day returns, and Philbin's opinion on that. If Dee and the Dolphins are determined to immediately nullify any attempt at good will and renewed communication with fans, we'll see a round two.
