Ireland to the Saints

Can we trade with New Orleans and Minnesota with Spielman this offseason? I would trade the Vikings Matt Moore for a 2nd round pick, even though he's not under contract, we should be able to do it.

There going to bring him in for college scouting? I guess that 2013 draft class must have impressed the Saints quite a bit.
 
Spielman has been much better in Minnesota than he was here. He hasn't don't anything head scratchingly dumb, and if you judge a GM at all by team success, they've gone a lot further than we have since he left in 06.
Vikings would've went to the 09 super bowl had Favre not made a throw that you'd bench a high school QB for making to lose the game.
 
I fear for Brees' safety...

Must be nice to be consistently below average, and yet still get job after job.

Amazing what "experience" can do, regardless as to what transpired during that experience.

The regurgitation cycle continues.
 
They are in cap hell so they need all the help they can get.

I think Spielman was carried by his no brainier decision to draft Peterson. Most of his other moves haven't panned out, including Ponder and trading a bunch of picks for 3 first rounders that have been a mixed bag...

Why would they need Moore? They have Bridgewater who had a pretty good rookie season.
