I read that Hakeem Nicks may be available for a 3rd round pick on PFT? Josh Gordon for a 2nd?

If he does not make big improvements this offseason and next season, he is going to be cut after 2014. That is how his contract is structured. It sucks. I was a believer. But the people who said "he's not a complete receiver, he is not a good fit, be careful" appear to have been right.
Based on what I've seen of how Brandon Gibson integrated into this offense, I think Blackmon or Nicks would be EXCELLENT acquisitions. Physical guys who can get the football. And again, it's not about this season. Here is a chance to improve a future Miami Dolphins football team and we are just going to sit on our hands, as usual. These teams WANT to get rid of these guys for picks. Their seasons are over... they are selling.
