The secondary played poorly on third down and it was hurting majorly when Patterson went down.
Jamar Taylor looked lost out there the snaps that he did get in, and no one else was stepping up -- how soon we forget that Miami beat NE with a practice squad safety pressed into duty as a slot corner?
I'm sorry that Carroll went to Philly and I really hope we sign Clemons back, but for all the draft picks spent on DBs, Miami sucked overall in DB play. Not as bad as the OL, with its even higher draft picks squandered, but still bad. Third down tells the tale, imo.
