Not everyone is able to push through the carple tunnel as the research thier fanstasy teams....some guys need more time.
I love these fat old dudes trying to tell professional athletes how to handle their injuries.
Maxwell had ten games in a row where he didn't allow more than 46 yds on him and he had two picks. I think PFF had him as a top 10 corner. We need him playing Sunday.Ankle sprains can be tough to even walk on and pretty damn painful. So I have no problem with Maxwell's injury keeping him out. Ain't his fault. And when he's been in after his "catharsis," he balled pretty conscientiously.
My problem is that between the time it took him to wake up and smell the coffee Gase was brewing to when he went down on injury, how many actual decent-good games did he get to string together? Again not his fault, but from a utility standpoint, paying him $8.5mil essentially for about 6-8 weeks of legit contributions really is unacceptable.

How people can act like Maxwell does nothing after seeing the way the defense has played the last two weeks is beyond me. Stop giving him the Mike Wallace, Brandon Marshall treatment where you hate a big name veteran for every play they didn't make rather than giving credit for what they have done.
