Is no one pissed about that non-call in the end zone/defenseless receiver?

I'm not upset about today's loss.

It was the least important game left on the schedule, against a brutal opponent we matched up poorly against, and I saw our QB make progress in key areas of his game today that have been weaknesses.

So no, I'm not pissed. I realize that this team already blew its chances this season and this one just wasn't important enough to get me mad.

I'm with JDW..

This loss doesn't bother me, not a afc opponent against a very stout defense.

Honestly though, do some of you guys watch other teams besides Miami? To make it seem that only Tannehill misses passes. **** Bug Ben under threw a WR today but his WR came down with it, WR made a play .

Every week every qb misses throws they should make it happens. To criticize EVERY bad throw is a waste of time.

It's been happening to the dolphins all year. Pissed? No. It's comical. The curse is still in effect. To make things fair, Wake should have been flagged for hitting Newton in the head but wasn't. Also Newton slipped and fell running out of bounds that we were called for hit out of bounds. Just the way the **** happens. Another loss. Non-conference. Honestly did you expect anything less from this franchise? Same story different week. This team is mentally fragile.

I agree w/ all that except for being mentally fragile.

They should have aired on the side of caution/player safety.

Though, its interesting that 2 weeks in a row a penalty on Kuechly gets waived off.

why wasn't it a TD and down by contact?

i looked like he had complete control of the football when he hit the ground.

can someone explane please?

That's what I'm saying. Should have been a penalty but also he had the ball, was down and then it came out. That was a catch anyway. I don't understand how it wasn't a td

They don't even watch Miami when we're on defense. Cam Newton threw a big fat donut on bombs today, and Ted Ginn had Nolan Carroll burnt at least twice.

And btw, Cam Newton does not suck at throwing deep balls.

It doesn't matter. It didn't cost us the game. We scored 0 points in a entire half.

The Clay catch that was challenged should not have been a catch. Calls go both ways. It seems as if we get screwed most of the time in the end it wasn't the refs, it was terrible coaching and terrible late game management. There is absolutely no offensive strategy by this staff, this is a pathetic coaching staff and it is on display week to week. This team is much better than their record.

That call was definitely NOT the reason we lost this game. Does anyone want to send out a memo to EVERY defensive coordinator in the NFL that prevent defense should be banned from this game. You think years of just watching football games would tell you it NEVER works! A big F*** YOU to Kevin Coyle, THAT changed the game momentum big time. And another big F*** YOU to Mike Sherman, for not having one creative bone in your body.

Ah, this is what I wanted. I don't live in an area with many Dolphins fans who would have seen the game, and I needed to vent and hear fellow fans react to my question, to help me get some perspective (on the blown call). Like I said, I hate blaming the refs, I realize there's a lot more to a single game than one play. Thanks all.
I forgot about the missed call on Wake.
Also, as far as that blown call being a catch and down by contact, like a couple of posters mentioned, Pereira came on with Myers and Ryan and explained very clearly during a replay why it was NOT a catch and down. It had to do with the fact that Matthews one foot was off the ground when contact was made. That meant that Matthews then had to complete the act of the catch through striking the ground, which he did not. Or something like that.
