Is Pouncey still supporting Henandez?

here we go again. ESPN blows this up into national news in 3...2...1...

The recent indictment for 2 more murders was mentioned on ESPN's bottom line but they never talked about it. Hmmm!?

To go along w/ Convenient Truth in post 18...

Why the F**K is this still being talked about?? WHO CARES if he has a framed Hernandez jersey in HIS OWN HOME....Jeez you guys always want to create something out of nothing

Maybe Mike has a guilty conscience and is subconsciously trying to tell us something?

It's in his own home...now if he's wearing a free Hernandez shirt again, that gives reason to be angry

I honestly couldn't care less if he had hernandez's jersey hanging next to rae Carruth's and O.J. Simpson's. I watch football because I love the game, not because i'm interested in the moral compass of the players. Pouncey is obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed so this really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, but in the whole scheme of things does it really matter? It's his own private property and he has the right to hang whatever on the wall he wants.

That is just disturbing. I have a family member who murdered another family member 15 years ago, real nasty divorce. I still have yet to see him in prison and he is my own blood. I have forgiven him but will never put a picture up of him and don't display any remembrance of him in my house, nor does the rest of the family. Pouncey is piece of garbage and dumba$$, doesn't he realize that he could have been the one that set Hernandez off and that he could be the one pushing up daisies.

Pouncey is riding on thin ice over a suspension on top of all his past issues and his connection to the grand jury involving Hernandez. It would probably be in his best interest to distance himself from Hernandez at this point. Yes it was in his own private home and it looks to be a mishap by Miko, but who's to say a plumber, pizza delivery guy or a neighbor takes the same picture to make an easy buck with TMZ or ESPN. Pouncey can his still keep his bromance going he just shouldn't put it on display because it's no good for anybody, his career , his kids, his employer, etc, etc. .

so he's not supposed to support his good friend?

Im more concerned that he has a Pats jersey frames. I guess he couldn't find a Gators jersey.

You're more concerned that he has a jersey of a player from a rival team than you are about the fact that he has the jersey of a guy facing multiple murder charges, amongst other serious crimes? You need to reexamine your priorities.

So you guys are saying if my brother is accused of three murders I should take down his pictures or items he's given me off the walls of my home and abandon him even if he hasn't been convicted of anything or even if I think he's innocent.

...is this really a question?

Yes, if your brother murdered people, you might consider, you know, not being best pals with him anymore. Murder is generally considered bad. For the sake of my sanity, im not going to spell out why its bad, if anyone is confused as to why they can look it up themselves.

Loyalty is only a good thing when you pledge it to someone or something worthy of it. Loyalty for the sake of loyalty is idiotic. In this case, if your brother kills 3 people then he wasnt being very loyal to the trust you placed in him, why should you keep your loyalty to him? And no, having a savvy lawyer who could run rings around an idiotic prosecutor and get your brother off on a technicality doesnt automatically mean you should keep associating with him.

For ****s sake people :bobdole:

Im sorry, but if my "good friend" murders multiple people in separate incidents, he definitely isnt good and he certainly is no longer my friend.

On top of that, I would have to take a step back and re-examine my life and some of the choices I have made that took me to a place where I found such a person to be considered a "good friend". What is it I wasnt doing that led me to fail to recognize what a terrible person this good friend was? What kinds of choices do I need to consider making going forward in order to not put myself in such a position in the future?

On a side note, now HERE is a man (Pouncey) who needs to be suspended and sent to receive some special training for a while. I personally feel that paying homage to a terrible person such as Hernandez is tantamount to a slap in the face of his victims' families and MUCH WORSE on the scale of offensive things than a simple remark of disgust towards two men licking cake off each others' faces.

Sherif Ali: What is your name?

T.E. Lawrence: My name is for my friends. None of my friends is a murderer!

I'll bet the national media will criticizes the Pouncey/Dolphins more than they have the Hernadez/Patriots.

Other notes:

It sucks Miko Grimes got caught in the middle.

Pouncey is an idiot and at this point I have to question his past involvements with Hernandez being he seems to have no moral compass.

The Donald Sterling issue is going to come back and bite athletes and public figures in the ass I guarantee. The new thing is going to be releasing these type of conversations and videos, the standard is now set being no one has privacy rights as long as they "offend".

While Pouncey is pretty ****in dumb, he shouldn't be suspended over this. It's his own damn house and he didn't take/post the picture.
