Is Pouncey still supporting Henandez?

There is also the chance that Pouncey doesn't believe hernandez did it, especially as he isn't even sentenced yet. Now don't laugh this **** happens I have been watching from an uncomfortably close distance latly as a sexual assault case has been going through the courts, I know he raped her, the police know he raped her and virtually everybody knows he did it.... except his close family and friends who still aggressively live in the delusion that he did nothing wrong

Donald Sterling was thrown out of the NBA for his long history of discrimination and general evil behavior, the league is listing the tapes as the cause for legal purposes(apparently Sterling is one of the most litigious owners in sports, who would have thought that?). Had Donald Sterling not been a slum lord, he probably only would have been fined. Had Donald Sterling not attempted to kill an employee, he probably would have been required to issue an apology. Had Donald Sterling not boasted under oath that women's bodies exist for his purchase, he would probably still have his team. 8 time offenders do not get the same leniency as first time offenders.

Similarly, had Mike Pouncey not been a ****ing idiot with controversies erupting every few weeks, people would be more willing to give him a mulligan with this situation. People, correctly, are getting tired of his bull****. Pouncey just doesnt get it. He proves it over and over again, he just has no clue how to behave like a rational human being. Individually, his incidents are no big deal. Added up, they show a ridiculous pattern of behavior. And it keeps happening. Over and over. People deserve the benefit of the doubt when it comes to our legal system, but in the court of public opinion...well, smoke is flowing all over the place, wheres the fire?

As long as pouncey doesn't get a long term deal I can deal with him still being here.

I really don't have an opinion on his decision to support Hernandez, quite frankly pouncey continues to proofs himself a lifelong knucklehead.

I've had enough of those on this teams roster, keep him until we don't need him anymore and than let him hit free agency.

It's easy to look at that ans say "How the Bleep can he still support him? hes a bleep bleep idiot". After all he looks guilty. I would bet a couple paychecks that he is but that's besides the point. He isn't making a public statement of support. He's hanging a jersey of a former teammate and friend in the privacy of his house.

The topic of the thread is whether Pouncey is still supporting Hernandez. People can differentiate public and private support all they want, and i was pointing out he does both, but what some find unacceptable is the fact he is supporting Hernandez period. And thats the point. Not the setting in which Pouncey supports the murderer, not if he did in the past, but if he still does support him.

And that makes him fair game for scorn.

Understood. Is he still supporting him? Obviously. I even stated as much in my post. Do I like the fact that hes supporting him? Not really. I think he's guilty. All I was saying or trying to say is simple, Pouncy has the right to support him and as long as hes not doing it publicly I'm ok with it.

And your opinion of his close family and friend is...? Or are you not judging them/don't care, especially if they're doing something nice/helpful/entertaining?

Actually, I think the real problem here is Miko Grimes - she really needs a refresher on how social media works. She's public figure (sort of) and she knows her twitter pics are going out to the world - I mean, c'mon, pay attention Miko!! Would you post a pic with Mike's coffee table in the background and a line of white powder on it, or a handgun?? Look at the photo before you post it and think for a second - could this possibly embarrass my friend? :rolleyes:
