Is Pouncey still supporting Henandez?

This def could be a potential scenario...especially if Hernandez could take him down w information...


If pouncey were to come out and say, he is a good friend of mine, who's going thru some serious trouble and this is my way to remember the good times past ect... Would that make it a dead issue?!?

Let me add a couple of other possibilities if I may.........

These are based on the premise that it seems odd for an NFL player to have another NFL player's jersey framed and placed in such a main location of his home. This appears to be Pouncey's living room and the jersey seems to be the main piece of wall decorations(to the right of the television. there is likely something else on the left side. maybe Hernandez's jock strap?)

Who does this? Perhaps Marino had a Clayton jersey in his home or vice versa? I could maybe see that. But, those 2 guys were critical in each others' success. Does any NFL player have another players jersey from a different team like that? I would think its odd. After all, these guys were PEERS!!! They played college ball together and both were better than average NFL players. I could see a guy having a jersey of a old high school teammate gone pro or something. For instance, if a guy played HS ball with Andrew Luck and now he has a regular job and still follows Luck's career..... I get it. Even if that guy were still close friends with Luck and speaks with him on the phone every couple of weeks, I could see that guy having a Luck jersey hanging up in his house. But, does the TE from Atlanta who played with Luck at Stanford(Toilolo I think?) have a Luck jersey in his house? I donno. It just seems odd to me.

So given that, two possibilities come to mind......

1. Pouncey idolizes Hernandez for the type of person he is. You know....... a complete lunatic and murderer. I just dont see how he would idolize him as a football player given that Pouncey is on his level in that regard. This leads me to think that Pouncey himself probably has similar values to Hernandez and perhaps even participated in worse activities than most on FH would like to believe.

2. Pouncey and Hernandez are/were gay lovers.
 
Eh, just looking at the room (looks like some ikea garbage) I cant confidently say that would be the house of a multimillionaire. I dont buy thats his house at all.

Those footballs all look like they say "Mike Pouncey" on them. Plus that's apparently Pouncey's kid.

This is the 2nd time Ive read "going through trouble" or "in trouble" in this thread.

You guys make it sound like Hernandez is battling a drug addiction or something and needs support from his friends and family. This guy is a MURDERER!!!!!!!! Were not talking about he is "in trouble" as if he vandalized a grocery store or something. He KILLED people. He did this multiple times. He did it in separate incidents. Its not as if he had a bad day, snapped, and shot up a bunch of people(not as if that isnt horrible). Were talking about a guy who had zero reservations about killing people. He is not good. This is not someone you have sympathy for. It dosent matter if Pouncey was friends with him at one point. The problem is that Pouncey seems to still respect Hernandez. Thats disturbing.

And if Pouncey is worried about Hernandez "ratting him out" for something, then thats even more reason to not like Pouncey. That means Pouncey has done something wrong that he should be in prison for.

Im sick of Pouncey. Honestly, Im bothered that players feel that its acceptable to be in his home. I find their judgement to be poor. If the Grimes' are hanging out with Pouncey, then Id suggest Grimes isnt the type of guy I want to root for either. I wish Pouncey were off this team already. There is really nothing good that can come of him being on the team anymore. Its not as if he has ever helped us win anything as it is.

Well yes as clear as it is to us from media reports of his guilt, I do support the idea of innocent until proven guilty...(to often do people of power like to act as judge and jury) until he is convicted it is perfectly acceptable to use the term "in trouble" since well he is in some trouble...

My second point is that in my post that you quoted, let it be know I was speaking as if mike pouncey were to say this... Would that squash the issue. So if it really were pouncey speaking do you think he would refer to Hernandez as a ****ing murderer or his old friend who's in some deep ****?!?

But don't get me wrong... It's ****ed up what Hernandez did and he should be prosecuted to the full extent...or put in a room with the families of the victims ( that's my vote). And if pouncey did get involved I would not look at it differently...

Just my opinion, but is think she is a loud foul mouth b**** and frankly her "look at me look at me I am married to a nfl player and can say anything to anyone" act has grown tiresome with me. But love her husbands play and hopefully he can keep it up.
 
I think Hernandez is guilty, but he hasn't been proven guilty yet. So while this is very bad from a PR perspective and Pouncey should be much more careful in the future, I can understand him still being loyal to his friend if he thinks he's innocent.

Unfortunately, I fear the more likely explanation is he doesn't care how many people his buddy killed. I don't get the feeling Pouncey is a very good person. And yet, I don't think you get rid of him. As long as he stays out of trouble, he should remain with the team.

Given his tweet the other day I still think it could be just for a laugh, the tweet tells me he has no problem crossing the line to be funny and I could totally see this being a gag gift from his brother or something and he actually hangs it to "up the ante."

It's wrong to criticize Don Jones for voicing his opinion on Twitter for the world to see.....but it's cool to just pile it on Pouncey for hanging a jersey in his private home.....ok got it.

Am I the only one who doesn't care if Pouncey is an idiot in his free time?? All of this "hurting the image of the Dolphins" crap, is just that. Frankly, no one cares about the "image" of a team if they're winning. Hernandez sure didn't stink up the Patriots image too much, Aldon Smith didn't seem to ding the 49ers.....yes, Pouncey is a complete idiot, but as far as I can see he shows up on Sundays and plays at a high level. Too bad we don't have an a few more players like that on both sides of the ball.

I don't get this whole thing about "free time". Pretty sure Hernandez wasn't killing people while he was on the clock. The Justice System doesn't give a **** about free time or any other time. And neither does the NFL.

The point is he's a dumbass, and a flagrant one. And eventually being a dumbass catches up to most dumbasses. I'd rather not be on the hook for a big contract extension when the clock strikes 12, especially when he's leaving breadcrumbs the size of bowling balls.
