Other than expansion teams, I cannot think of any team replacing 4, let alone 5 starters on the OL. Anyone know of any?

Hard to imagine what the team was thinking, and the same can be said for DT.

Draft OL early and often. Pick up quality OL in FA early and often. Either that, and accept the growing pains that will come with it, or get used to a crappy Offensive Line. The OL lacked talent before all of this Martin debacle and fallout, now it's just a mess, expansion team OL quality.

Why would we replace all 5? for example Pouncey is a player and if anything will only miss a game or two to suspension

I have never seen that. I still think there is a chance Mt. McKinnie comes back if he gets himself in better shape and if his left knee is better.

I think they keep Pouncey unless their hands are forced to get rid of him or he is taken away. I'm sure we sign at least two free agents that were not on our team last year, sign one or two of the guys we already had, and then draft at least two or three in the draft

Lol. Watch Martin be the only returning starter...

I think the situation with the line is much easier if you keep Pouncey...as distasteful as that may be to some.

I think the rest is doable via FA and the draft. The issue with Pouncey might come up thought when he is done with his rookie deal.

Absolutely. I don't like Pouncey and want to see him gone at some point but just not now. When you have an awful line you don't get rid of your only good player unless you are forced to.

Man, I really hope they don't "half-donkey-butt" this process. After, this offseason period I better not hear "manure" about the O-line EVER again. If that means bringing in 10 Olinemen between FA and the draft I swear they better do it.

This whole situation is laughable at best. How many top and mid round picks have been wasted on the offensive line and now we are stuck having to basically start over again. And it's only been six years since Jake Long, most teams who wasted as much as we have would have a offensive line that would maul teams. But of course, I am talking about the Dolphins, so I am not surprised we are doing this, and probably will be doing it 3 years down the road when the new picks leave or get suspended. Our scouts must be new England patriots season ticket holders.

A lot will depend on what happens with Pouncey. If he gets suspended for four games as some have speculated we will need to be looking for a Center and letting Pouncey work his way in at Guard when he returns. I like a few of the guard prospects in the draft that should be available when we pick. The best options for LT will be gone before we pick at 19. I would love to see us make a play for Mack at center and Monroe at LT. Draft a couple of guards in the first and second and a tackle in the 3rd for depth.

Completely agree. Remember recently when Long and Carey were bookends and we never talked about the OL? That is how it should be.

For me, I used to enjoy re-watching games to see who had the better game between the two, and over 3 years, it was not as one sided as you would think. I miss those days.

5 new starters on the oline sounds like a recipe for disaster to me...unit needs time to gel...no familiarity etc...although the way we played up front in 2013 I doubt it could be any worse...

I'd just be careful to depend on too many rookies in your unit coming In and being dependable from the jump...it rarely happens

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Bills last season or 2 season ago start a line with like 4 of 5 rookies? Of-course, everyone assumed they were going to be terrible and end up being very good.
