I have never seen that. I still think there is a chance Mt. McKinnie comes back if he gets himself in better shape and if his left knee is better.Other than expansion teams, I cannot think of any team replacing 4, let alone 5 starters on the OL. Anyone know of any?
Hard to imagine what the team was thinking, and the same can be said for DT.
I think they keep Pouncey unless their hands are forced to get rid of him or he is taken away. I'm sure we sign at least two free agents that were not on our team last year, sign one or two of the guys we already had, and then draft at least two or three in the draft
I think the situation with the line is much easier if you keep Pouncey...as distasteful as that may be to some.
I think the rest is doable via FA and the draft. The issue with Pouncey might come up thought when he is done with his rookie deal.
Man, I really hope they don't "half-donkey-butt" this process. After, this offseason period I better not hear "manure" about the O-line EVER again. If that means bringing in 10 Olinemen between FA and the draft I swear they better do it.
5 new starters on the oline sounds like a recipe for disaster to me...unit needs time to gel...no familiarity etc...although the way we played up front in 2013 I doubt it could be any worse...
I'd just be careful to depend on too many rookies in your unit coming In and being dependable from the jump...it rarely happens
