Is Reshad Jones a locker room cancer?

Yeah I find it interesting how we have a top 6 defense that had no problem pressuring the QB but now he is here and everything goes dark. Plus he is already calling out other people.

Reminds me of his glory days when I couldn't stand him because he was great for 3 quarters then a ghost in the 4th or crucial times in the game. Lord forbid he shows up for a playoff game. The guy was quoted as saying "I was waiting for someone else to make a play"

Jones isn't a cancer, Taylor is. Jones has just been stinking up the joint and only did what the majority of this board did and place most blame on Sapp
 
you guys are obsessed with jones. its almost to the point of the henne-love last year. jones is not playing well. he is a big reason we are horrible in pass coverage again. youc an hate clemons b/c he cant catch all you want but we allowed big plays with whats-his-face at FS in 09 and then clemons in 10 put a stop to that. now all the sudden with jones in - big plays again.

im not sure hes the sole person they are talkinga bout but i cant help but agree he probably is at least part of who they are talking about. its pretty obvious.

taylor is speaking truth right now and he had a decent game. get over the 2-int game whenever it was. jones isnt ready for the big time JT has gave us highlights through an era that was bleak. leave him alone. he also came here instead of a true contender in the jets this year.

the d was overrated last year too...we haven't stopped a top offense since nolan got here...i watched in person the ravens string together what seemed like 20 play drives til the cows came home last year...couldn't cover ray rice out of the backfield to save our lives...no answer whatsoever

Clemons put a stop to the big passing plays last year? That's another myth that gets spread around here like herpes.... did you watch Miami play last year?
 
and yeah gryphonk taylor would always go ghost in crucial games or situations that desperately mattered...never did anything...but he'd pad those numbers against the also rans...joey p was the same way
 
i watched them all year my freind. we did not have these kinds of huge plays bury us last year. this is remeniscent of 09. our run d was also better last year. are you disputing this? and are you disputing that clemons plays smarter than jones?

it is the myth that jones is some "playmaker" that is spreading around here like herpes.

Taylor did nothing other than time one snap right and get a sack.... he's especially terrible in a game that actually counts.

Nobody really cares that Taylor decided to come here rather than the Jets, other than his hardcore suck-off fanboys that like to run around their house wearing underwear and a #99 jersey sacking pillowbacks...

I'd much rather him be on any of the other 31 teams rather than this one...

Speaking the truth or not, a veteran leader should not be calling out teammates. It's one thing to speak in generalities but when you specifically call out certain players or a group, that is a problem

We disagree on Taylor, but can you atleast agree with the fact that he shouldn't be calling out teammates? Rather, if he wants to call anyone out, atleast call out the whole defense? That is what a TRUE leader does

i can't count how many times last year clemons was late on in breaking routes deep down the middle of the field...the kind of plays where you say to yourself "where's the damn free safety???"..."he should be here by now"

i can't count em...and anything over his head...ha ha absolutely no clue...none

Clemmons had a whole season. That is a fact
Jones has had 2 games..... Still too early to tell.

It is like the Sage Rosenfels experiment. Whether he stunk or not wasn't the issue. But they only gave the guy 1 half and 11 pass attempts to determine he was useless. Same with Thiggy against the #1 pass defense at the time last year.

Let's give the kid some time here.

I am not talking Chad Henne 4 years time here (ugh) I am talking about more then maybe 3 games to determine this. Don't they say DB is one of the hardest positions to transition into in the NFL?

Jones was never tabbed a playmaker.... people only wanted to give him a shot to see if he could become one. It damn sure ain't going to be Chris Clemons...


You've obviously forgotten all the big passing plays and choke jobs this defense put up last year against backup quarterbacks and rookie running backs.


He's playing out of position...


I hope they do put in Clemons to refresh a lot of people's memory around here of just how bad he is too... they've obviously forgotten.
