Is Reshad Jones a locker room cancer?

I also think many are confusing not making Jones a scapegoat as saying he is not part of the problem. He is part of the problem. But the problem is bigger then Jones and won't be fixed by replacing Jones at this point.

We need to see if he has the potential to get better which will only happen by letting him play some and not have a knee-jerk reaction after 2 games.

It's like watching Henne stink up the joint for 2 years then all of a sudden get excited over his game against NE. sURE HE LOOKED DANG good, but let's see a few games before we can truly judge how good Jones is or how much better Henne actually is

It's obvious Reshad Jones is in over his head. "Get it on Jones" better learn how to play his position better. He played FS in college his senior year so he isn't out of position. You can't tell me they put Carroll out there with Johnson with no help over the top. So where were you "get it on"?

And Benny Sapp gambled too much against Welker in the patriots game and got his *** handed to him time and time again. This regime will be history very soon if things stay like they are. I can't say i am opposed to that.

I for one would love for Clemons to come back....like NOW!!! He plays disciplined and is there when over the top is required.

the only thing taylor does is produce scheme driven pressure off clean looks or guess the snap count once in a blue moon...he can't win vs a tackle on the outside...we got a lot of can't win guys on the outside

Exactly, and it normally comes with 1 or 2 neautral zone infractions at some point in the game. Luckily they will be minimal now due to lack of playing time.

You kinda went too far the other way with this list. Sure most of these guys are very overrated here, but you went ahead and underrated quite a few of them as well. I think a lot of them are just average to good players that fans want to call elite.

Odrick- Haven't seen anything from him yet so we shall see
Soliai- Certainly not elite and not deserving of 12 million per, but still got some good push on Sunday and is a solid NT
Langford/Starks- Also made some nice plays on Sunday, but need to be more consistent if they are as good as FH says they are.
Misi- Agreed completely
Burnett- So far I agree. We went from a run stuffer who couldn't play the pass to a guy who can't play the run.
Dansby- Not good so far, definitely over paid.
Wake- Agreed
Davis- Good corner just not as good as fans want him to be. We need a solid corner more than a good WR.
Jones- So far I agree
Bell- Just a solid guy been overhyped here for years, but he is decent

Agreed. The Phins are full of just average to good players that fans want to overhype.

The Phins have only 2 elite players on the team. Jake Long and Fields. That is it. It's sad when one of them is a punter lol

As of week 2 I can't disagree with flynryan, but I think the assessment is off and solely picks out their flaws to try and prove a point. I don't have an argument because we haven't seen otherwise, but I think this D has "potential", which we all know doesn't mean squat.

-Davis has always given up big plays, but also comes up with big plays. So far this year he's been out of shape and hasn't made the big plays.
-Smith is soft, but runs with the receivers very well. Still doesn't mean anything once again.
-I still think Dansby is the man, but 50 mill for unfortunate nagging injuries is upsetting.
- Burnett has been invisible.
-Wake is still the man, but has been contained.
- The Dline in general has been lacking
-Bell is ok. Pro Bowl Reserve a couple years back doesn't mean much now. He's still a leader.

I don't know what it is this season but we haven't been in position to get takeaways. One pick by Odrick and that's it. No attempt on knocking the ball loose. No Physicality. Getting run all over. They gotta step up. They played ok against the Texans, but that doesn't cut it. It's not all their fault, but they are a huge contributing factor to why we are 0-2.

I went off topic and didn't write about Jones in my last post. Jones is young and has a lot of maturing to do. When Clemons is healthy he is an average FS. I would play Clemons to see how he does out there. The only thing I remember about Clemons from last season was that he was invisible unless he was dropping picks. That's not necessarily a bad thing since you don't want to hear your FS name because it's normally a bad thing unless it's a turnover. Jones can be good, but can't have mental lapses during games.

I thought you were too harsh on Bell, Langford, and Starks as well. Although you were spot on that all these guys are overrated on these boards.
