To all of you who previously said that Ricky was worth a 5th rounder, would you trade him now for a first round pick? I bet there are several teams who would come foward. (Philly comes to mind) What do you guys say now?

NO to trading Ricky. Why would we trade him? He's making hardly nothing and he's looking better each game.

why trade him? Ronnie has to get in the groove with us and we need all the weapons we can get to get us wins. Ya dont cut ya nose off to spite ya face. I say use em both and we may get somewhere this season. I for one wud be gutted to trade Ricky as things lie.

dude settle down preseason hasnt proved anything for ricky's worth wait till 5th game before talk of his value.

we couldn't get a first for surtain. we'd be lucky to get a 3rd for ricky right now.

his value lies in what he can do for us as member of the dolphins. not the eagles or whoever the hell else wants to shortchange us for him

we didnt have a running game last season and what happened? we get Ricky back and he may still be a 1000yd back quite easily and some ppl wanna trade him? i would like to know why we would trade him at this juncture when Ronnie Brown has taken a few snaps and is unproven. Are some ppl angling to get a high draft pick to get the fins a QB because i believe nothing short of a first rounder will get us a franchise QB. I dont get it?

Was sure sick of hearing Jaworski singing the praises of the Bucs and particulary Cadillac Williams and barely mentioning Ronnie Brown. Why do we have the opponents commentators at our home games. Isn't it their job to give equal time to each team on the field.....really ticks me off.....:yell:

The problem is most people here lack foresight. The need immediate gratification. Trading RW would be a terrible idea right now, or the future. Kinda along the same lines as starting Frerotte, useless.

No, I mean Helll no. Look at what happened to Pitts. RBs can go down in a hurry and there is no way we would get a 1st, 2nd or 3rd round pick for him right now.

Less than a month ago, most of you guys didn't even want Ricky back. I am just trying to maake a point and see how many of you still feel that way. I don't want to trade him, but I am sure that a lot of teams like what they see.

I agree with you on both of these.

ricky is our best offensive player. why would you trade your best offensive player?
