Is Ross Allowed To Interview Darrell Bevell During Seattle's Bye Week?

Also, everyone here saying keep one and fire the other as far as Philbin and Ireland are all wet. They are a package deal. One goes, both go. Which is fine with me. Why prolong this one more year?

Just sayin, we ALWAYS want what we don't have, and when we get it, we want what we had. I for one would like to see us stick with a passing based O and add an explosive runner who can catch and BLOCK. The only way to get those tough 2-3 yards with the backs we have would be to add a true FB to lead, otherwise we'll never run it up the gut successfully. And where did the QB sneak go?

Thanks. This was the point I meant to convey. I have never witnessed a softer team on both sides of the ball. It's embarrassing when our DL cannot stop the opponent's QB draws and our coaches think than running Charles Clay on 4th and 1 is a good call.

The only player with toughness on offense is Hartline and I guess Tannehill for taking all those hits. He might be tough running the ball yet this staff never calls designed QB runs.

Just look at the Patriots yesterday. Blount runs for almost 200 yards and Brady throws for 125. Having the ability to adapt to a power running game and having an explosive passing game are not mutually exclusive, as others have pointed out.

I was a supporter of Philbin, I'll admit. I respect that his teams are disciplined as evidenced by committing few penalties. But they cannot block or tackle which leads me to conclude that it is not just Sherman that is the problem.

Calm down grasshopper. This team is missing toughness. This staff is all about finesse/scheme and not about smash mouth. We need to have the ability to do both. It is not one way or the other.
