Is trading Pouncey a possibility?

Pouncey allowed two sacks all season and is our only lineman

Um ok, because he's played LT, LG, RG, and RT??? Hmmm, interesting. :3w:

Laughable, is that people actually believe Pouncey is a pro bowl center.

I take it you didn't follow any of Urban Meyer's "1% of 1%" outstanding citizens.

Judging by the response, I'd be willing to wager every cent in my bank account you jumped straight to the comment bar after reading the title and didn't actually read the post. Point out the words where I even insinuated that I want this to happen. It was a thought that I felt was not as far fetched as it would've been last season, with a new GM and Philbin's displeasure with "bad boys". It's actually plausible if you think it out. Other than the fact that I had the compensation wrong, I'm sure we could get a 1st and 2nd or 1st and 3rd for a top flight center in a trade though.

There have been a number of posters on this who have been clamoring to trade Pouncey. With that being said my post is not unfounded. Not saying you suggested it, but to even bring it up is pretty myopic. As stated and proven Pouncey is by far our best OLmen, why would we trade the best player at his position? So should we trade Grimes? How about an up and coming Vernon...

No team is trading a 1st and a second for a center. Hell I would take a first and a second for Pouncey every time. I also wouldn't have traded a 1st and a second for a guy like Jordan

Everything is on the table. If the Bengals offered Eifert or the Steelers offered De Castro, I'd definitely consider it. But, if a team is offering a 2nd or 3rd rounder, I doubt we make a deal.
