Is Wallace practicing with tannehill right now

It has been reported by Barry Jackson that WALLACE said he isn't there. Straight from the horses mouth.

He certainly isn't obligated to go catch balls from Tannehill outside of official team activities, but it certainly shows that he isn't committed to solving the chemistry problems he has bitched so much about. People who want to be great at something work at it even when no one is around to see it and when they aren't compensated. Those are the facts. So this little thing, which may not be a big deal to you, shows me that he isn't working toward being GREAT, he is content with being merely good.

Im not saying it didn't happen but do you have a link for this conversation? Someone posted a link from an earlier tweet from Jackson stating Wallace planed to return to Miami in February to start his track work and throwing sessions with Tannehill but I haven't seen anything on what you referenced.

Just to play devil's advocate. It is an assumption that Wallace even knows about the workouts Tannehill is conducting with Matthews and others.

Or...Wallace already had his vacation/trip scheduled when Tannehill called to set up the workouts and couldn't be there at this time.
I guess it's possible, but I doubt he would just be left out of the loop.

that he's not in attendance bc he's lazy. what if he's working out else where with a trainer or something. RT was working with Weinke last year or something to improve mechanics, how do you know wallace isnt doing something simular?

I never said he was lazy. who knows why he isn't there, he just needs to find a way
he may be running and training but how could he believe it would be more important than getting on the same page as his QB?

They have been bringing in a lot of vet wrs.

I think it is just a matter of time. Hopefully it won't be a straight release like desean.

well maybe he doesnt believe it's more important. i was just kinda saying as an example. And I agree he does need to find a way to be there at some point. But we just dont know the circumstances of why he isnt, and when these workouts were planned, if he already had planned, etc. So it bothers me that ppl are basically jumpin on him for not being there without knowing WHY he isnt. That's all. I want him to be there, I was disappointed to learn he wasnt, but I have a hard time believing he wouldnt be if there wasnt something else going on...family plans, etc. There's just no telling why.

Chill this is their time off, half the year they are away from their family. Maybe his moms sick, maybe it's his sisters birthday? Who knows? If you were a professional athlete, would you skip seeing your family because a bunch of dumb fans want to see you play better. It's nice that Matthews and hartline and practicing but it's on their own time, not the dolphins. If this was training camp then yeah sure complain but you have to remember that they are human with normal lives and families, give them a break.

Lol hope you are joking? That's 23 million in dead cap... His entire salary is guaranteed so whether he's cut or playing he still gets paid his full salary.... I wish fans and dumb reporters like la conforna would stop being idiots and speculating that Wallace won't play for the phins this year. 100% chance he's with the dolphins this year... Write it down, quote it...

Firefighters, EMS personnel, military etc. are all away from their families a hell of a lot more than Wallace is away from his and get paid an average of close to $50,000 a year if even that. They miss out on countless holidays, family events and it's just a part of the job you sign up for. We also put our lives on the line to protect others for the fraction of a penny that Wallace is getting paid to be a sports player/entertainer. I'm just saying...

Wallace is getting paid over $60 million dollars through his contract. His expectations from fans are just and if a fan is frustrated after seeing him M.I.A. from these opportunities with his QB they damn well have the right to ask questions.

We as fans are the same to Wallace as tax payers are to the professionals that serve them in time of emergency and need...

How much time do you think PM and Welker put in together. I would guess a lot, Welker makes 1/10 what Wallace makes. If Wallace is on a deserted island with no internet or TV maybe he does not know his quarterback is working. Very disappointing.

Would be nice if Wallace would get in some extra reps, but he's not obligated I guess. Not everyone has that drive that the great ones do.

How many military people do you know in Iraq who are not on active duty? How many firefighters do you know fighting fires on their day off? They get paid to do Their job when they are on duty because that's what their job requires. Wallace's job requires him to be fast and catch a football for half a year. As long as he's staying in shape and not on the John Jerry diet right now then he is doing what his job is required to do.

I'm simply tying to make a point but you're not getting it. Firefighters are constantly taking courses on their own time to continue their education and all emergency personnel put in overtime on the regular throughout the world. Do some research and you will find endless amounts of volunteers that willingly go out of their way to travel and participate in other areas to aid and assist when needed (brush fires, national disasters etc). It's in our nature to go above and beyond. Especially volunteer firefighters around our country. So trust me your comment about us only doing our job when we are on the clock is beyond invalid.

The great ones around the league do what's necessary to be the best they can be in the nfl and then there is talented players who bank on their checks and do the bare minimum in order to get by.

It's just the way it is. Wallace should be out there if it means anything to him. If there's a valid reason then I totally respect that but as fans we all have the right to be curious. Especially after Wallace voiced his frustrations about QB play in the past...

I wonder if Wallace would have the same attitude with Payton M.... I know when PM went to Denver he put in long hours with "all" his new receivers.. and he mentioned how important it was to get in sync and build a rapport with the receivers...
