It was make or break time for the QB... Epic Fail

CH is Michigan man same as Ross.

Henne isn't the problem but I don't believe hes the solution either.

Nice to see John Jerry in place of Vernon Carey.

CH is a glorified backup that has been given more rope to hang himself than most young QB's get in a career. I have to believe Ross is in love with him...Somebody down there is thats for sure. We needed change 12 mths ago...Had it happened who knows where we would be but we would not be beating the same horse.

I don't think that is the case at all. In fact, I think Ross wanted a QB change this offseason as part of Sparano being retained, but Sparano/Ireland didn't risk everything on a rookie QB, and with FA being such a mess, it gave the staff an easy excuse to not bring in somebody else. But we did still chase Orton, Ireland was just right to not overpay for him. Sadly, that was our only attempt at improvement.

"Henne isn't the problem but I don't believe hes the solution either"

What does that even mean? If the guy cannot get the job done when called on its a problem...For everybody.

It means the defense blew the game, but Henne never does enough to win anyways.

Neither is fielding key roster positions with talent the equivalent of Mississippi Valley State...

Which is a good thing we brought in an all-pro WR two years ago, brought in several talented speedy WR's, locked up one of the NFL's most productive third down receivers, drafted a RB in the second round (who has averaged exactly 100 yards per game, not bad!), and sent a pick to get one of the fastest RB's in the league.

Pennington won a division with his best receiving options being two undrafted FA WR's, coming off a 1-15 season. You just gotta have a QB who steps up with the game and the season on the line.

so funny, my whole family was watching the game and as soon as miami kicked a feild goal we knew what was going to happen. and we all called INT even with the great feild position. this is feidler all over again.

unlike everyone calling to clean house though - all we need is a coach and a QB.

The INT didn't matter. It was 4th down anyway and by that point it was pretty obvious we weren't gonna win. The bigger problem is simply the 0-4. Four tries to get about 12 yards with a win that was practically gift wrapped by CLE penalties, and we didn't do it.

Its the D
Its CH
Its WR not Catching
Its the Coaching
Sh*t its the whole team who are we kidding
I want those days in the 80s and 90s that if we were down but a touch down or less in the 4th qt we were going to come back and win hey maybe marino can come out in in a segway and play lol

Colt McCoy led the Browns down the field for a TD with the 4th quarter coming to a close....Henne never has.

and the Browns have less offensive weapons.

Not true, the Phins win that game with Fiedler. Not even close to being Fiedler all over again. If anything he would have ran a couple times to get us in FG range.

Fiedler would have messed up if we had 80 yards to go. 10-15 for a GW FG he would have got it done

I don't support Henne. Never thought he was the guy, but did support. I'm seeing him forming a habit of tucking the ball, putting the head down and running. Too Early. And Too much. And too repetitive. I guess I'm seeing robotics, and I think he is an easy game plan for a good team. That's the biggest problem. Ya he makes some throws. We need more than that. Bye. I would consider him staying as a backup actually. And that is the next question.

thats what happens when you play scared and kick fgs. all of this new offense and putting trust into chad henne and the rest of the offense to score touchdowns is bull. At the end of the day, sparano is scared to seal a win and that is why we lose and DESERVE to do so. Guillotine please.

Henne is not a good redzone QB, which is the most important spot on the field to be good. Also, watching henne try to scramble...he ran straight into a Dlineman a couple of times...it was sad to look at and funny at the same time.

Not Henne's Fault

I'm not blaming Henne for this one. I'm gonna put this one on Play Calling and our Receivers inability to get open when needed. Note to B. Marshal, you can't not be a #1 receiver when you're getting locked down one on one by a young corner and can't get open in the red zone. There were several plays where Henne looked to Marshal but he was just not open. Even on the last INT pass Haden was all over Marshal on the crossing route. I don't know if it's the play calling or the receivers but it seems to me that our receivers have problems getting open.
