I think you're underrating Jones, and I hope you're right. At any rate, I agree on your second point. This is an 11-12 win team with Jim Harbaugh at the helm.

Still, the Raiders didn't look like a horrible football team against New England. They looked like a decent team with a rookie QB. The honest truth is, they should have taken that game to overtime. They had bad luck at the end of the game on a questionable holding call followed by an unlikely interception. Just saying.

The Raiders definitely should have taken the Pats to OT. But I think it says more about how well the Pats are playing right now than it does about the Raiders. Remember, we scored 33 against the Pats. We've scored 25 total since. The Pats only played well against a reeling Vikes team that was dealing with the AP drama/suspension. There was no chance the Vikes were going to play well vs. NE. If the Raiders were a quality team, they would have beaten the Jets or Texans...teams QB'd by Geno Smith and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Didn't happen. They haven't scored more than 14 points yet in a game. The Raiders are TERRIBLE.
