Ronnie to sit on the sidelines.i really enjoy it when he plays and when he gets the handoff you will never know what hes gonna do.its a shame hes not playing.but we will get to see ricky start and sammy come in.and one of my other favorite runing backs jarrett paton is playing.but are you guys hurt by ronnie sitting on the sidelines and not getting to watch him.

Yeah, me too. But at least the rest of the team is getting to be more fun to watch!

Yeah, Ronnie will be missed out there, but this is why we kept Ricky....for situations like this. Ricky's been looking good as of late and should have a decent time against the Titans. We'll probably go to the passing game a little bit more, though, to expose their subpar pass D.

I think Ricky and Sammy will step it up. I Sammy when he gets in there he seems to just run with an attitude.

This just plays right into Saban's hand. Ronnie is not seriously injured and will recover 100%. Nick has 2 more games left to feature Ricky Williams for trade bait, and you better believe he will. If Ricky totally goes off against the Titans and has a solid game against the Patriots some team may trade down in the first round of the draft to get him, and allow us to get our QB of the future. Contrary to popular belief Ricky Williams does have trade value.

not first round, he doesn't... i can see ricky going for a 3rd round pick... a conditional 2nd if we're lucky.

I said some team would trade down to get Ricky Williams. Meaning we would swap 1st round picks and throw in Ricky and possibly another pick depending on how far up Saban wants to go.

don't trade ricky! A guy like Ricky getting paid the vets minimum is huge.

I think we have to, unfortunately. :( Our team is not good enough all around to afford the luxury of having two Pro Bowl caliber running backs. We have too many holes! If we can secure our franchise QB we have so desperately needed for the last 6 years by trading our BACK UP RUNNING BACK we must pull the trigger.

I honestly think that if we were to trade Ricky, he would be crushed. He seems to be truly loving football and this team right now, and he almost looks up to Saban as a father. I think if he were traded he would be heartbroken and lose his love for football again.

I would agree if he had any trade value. Unfortunately, ricky is portreyed as someone who can not be relyed on to be a #1 back, and is worth a 3rd-4th rnder tops. If that is the case we gotta keep him. If Ronnie gets injuried having someone who can carry the load would be a huge plus. However, if Saban liked what someone had to offer i would not criticize him for accepting the deal because i have total faith in Saban. I don't see Ricky being traded though.

I have liked Sammy since he got here. I could never understand why he wasn't the full time starter last year. He always makes plays.

Dude ricky is one suspension from a LIFETIME BAN!! Just how much do you think teams are going to give up for a guy in that situation? Not to mention that Rickys cap number for us is incredibly good. There is almost NO WAY that he gets traded. He is worth far more to this team considering what we gave for him.And all though you say we have two probowl rb's I dont see it that way . Ronnie is good but young and has not been to the probowl and although ricky has gone to the bowl it was a few years ago and i dont see him getting back soon.Keep dreaming but you will be dissappointed i am afraid.
