Most of my travelling, outside of Florida, was when I was 5 and my father(biological) was in the trucking industry after Vietnam. I saw a ton of states during that year before the divorce when I was 6.
The memory during that time that sticks out the most was our trip to Long beach california. We stopped at Hoover Damn on the roadway overlooking the spillway and I refused to get out of the cab! Talk about a long way down! My next memory of that trip was swallowing about 800 gallon of Pacific salt water on Long Beach. :rofl3:
I think I left out where the truck broke down in Arizona and I got to see my first TRUE roadrunner. For me, that was a hoot.I grew up on warner borthers cartoons after all.
I went to the beach a few years ago with nothing but a tent. The few days we were there it was great. I've been down to Gainesville in Fla. Up to NY. But the greatest trip was taking I-40 to Cali. When I was in Arizona, all I thought about was scorpions and snakes.

I'll probably take off to Las Vegas next, I've never been there.
