Then Baltimore will have to lose since of those Cincinnati games is against Baltimore. We go through if we win out.

They play each other week 17. That's impossible. If the bengals win out and finish 11-5 that means the ravens finish 9-7 or worse. If the ravens beat the bengals they could both finish 10-6. Ravens win the division, we get the WC. It's that simple.

I guess after all these years it's just hard to believe that we actually control our own destiny. I'm not sure if it makes me more or less comfortable.

On to the next (year)
I want us to win next week, Ravens lose tomorrow, and Ravens win the week after. That's just me. That way there's a number of different scenarios that would give us a playoff berth.
We need the Lions to win tomorrow night. Then we need to beat the Bills. Then will have to re-address it. It could get interesting if that happens, but doubt the Pats would lose to the Bills if the division were on the line.

It's so weird (and awesome) reading that. I've been accustomed to losing, and pointless December games my entire time being a fan of this team. It's like I'm rooting for a completely different franchise now lol. Go Fins! :)

Interesting scenario: Ravens win out, meaning the Patriots would have to beat the Bills to secure the AFC East.. However, if they lose, they wouldn't make the playoffs. Ideal Scenario would probably just be The ravens losing tomorrow, then beating the pats, setting up the outside shot that we could win the division with a bills loss in week 17. Long way to go.

-Don't see Fins winning next week in Buffalo. Fins will finish 9-7. If balt wins out they take the Division. We need Cincy to lose 2 more games. If Balt loses only one the rest of the way. We are out

Only way to get 2 seed is for Patriots to lose out. A confident ravens team coming off a road win over the lions and having a 4 game winning streak is our best chance to shake their confidence. They lose 2 in a row and fall to bills in finale.
This only works if we win out.
