I'm sorry to say, but regardless of our giving a 2nd round pick to the Eagles, AJ Feeley has to go. To me you just can't factor in what we gave up for him because it is a sunk cost. We need to factor in his production and ability to manage the game. Sadly, we can clearly see, the guy just doesn't have that ability. I suppose, he could be our 3rd stringer, but I'm to the point where I think that might be a waste of time. This is not like a Steve Young in Tampa situation where if Feeley were in the right system and with the right team, might flourish. I believe we could have the league best offensive line and he would still throw the short touch passes to hard, fail to look off defenders, and make bad decisions. Although Frerotte hasn't faired much better, I believe he makes better decisions, and gives us a better chance to win. At this point, I would like to see Frerotte as our starter, and Rosenfels as the #2. If by chance, when he starts playing with the big boys, Rosenfels starts to show us more than Frerotte then let's move him in as our starter.
