Jackson: some Dolphins officials not sold on Flynn

I feel if no Manning Philibin choice on Flynn might be career threatening if he strikes out on him being great somewhere else or bad with us.....I say if we do get him still draft Tanne becuz after a few years sitting he has the ability physically to be good as anyone. (I'm neither sold on Flynn or Tanne)
I just feel double up becuz flynn, Tanne and Moore, one of them gotta be good or franchise changer.....NO?

My concern is that Flynn's going to want the promise of being the starter, when there's not much evidence (yet) that he's better than Matt Moore...

What happens if Moore out-performs him in training camp/pre-season?

vinny curry in the 20's...UGH

interesting stuff about coples...arm length with ingram is a major concern of mine...he'll get engulfed by tackles if they can get their arms on him...8's too high

why does ireland insist on resigning a 34 de to play primarily a 43 d...makes no sense...yeah langfords dependable and an eagle scout and tough against the run but for what you're gonna pay him you won't get the bang for your buck in a 43

What do you think about trading back a little and getting Perry?

i think his value is in the #25 to #40 range...explosive lower half but i don't see elite edge rush tools...i like him more than andre branch and mercilus and vinny curry

don't think he's a top 20 bpa though...

I was gonna say late 1st early second.. in one of my scenarios I drew up I actually had us drafting decastro, and nick perry. than I think I had something like ILoka in the third and osemele in the 4th, or maybe that was backwards...

I've been looking more at guys like perry, johnson and curry.... I just can't fall in love with coples and ingram no matter how hard I try and how much crap I read about them on finheaven...

Flynn's Jay Fiedler arm is why I would not want him. I don't want a QB who throws a pass 45-50 yards and it looks like a wounded duck.

I think Philbin's recent comments in regards to the Packers building through the draft, and not signing a single free agent for the past 2 seasons, speaks volumes about how he would like to put this team together. Even if the Dolphins sign Manning, I think they will draft a QB early in the draft, I would.

In this matter I think Philbin's opinion is the one the franchise should listen to. If he wants him, you get him. If he doesn't then you don't go after him hard.
I totally agree with this. He would virtually be staking his career on it. If he feels that strongly let him have Flynn. Who knows him better? Certainly not anybody on this board.

what everyone on this board does know is that peyton manning is 100 x the qb flynn will ever be, and even at 75-80 percent, hes still prob 20x the qb flynn will ever be.
