Big Jakeem Grant update: There’s optimism that he did not tear his Achilles. More will be know tomorrow. Unclear if or when he can play again this year. But definitely better than what was first feared

That's great news!

I thought for sure he tore his Achilles, but if he just pulled a hamstring that would be a big break for us (when we haven't really gotten any breaks this season).

We probably don't even have anybody to replace his roster spot so even if it is a torn achilles myswell just say its weird and hope some teams still gameplan for him.

It was clearly not a ruptured Achilles because he walked on it and put weight on the ball of his foot.

If you try to walk on a fully torn Achilles the foot will fold like Burke’s run defense.

I can almost guaran-goddam-tee we lose a player to injury during the bye week. Just the way this ball is rolling.

I had one and it burns like a torch.

That's outstanding news, hopefully they sit him for the rest of the season. No need to risk his career on a lost season
