Jarvis Landry "Im the Man"

This is a Rishard Mathews replacement,. nothing more. Gibson's recovery is on schedule and if he is healthy he will be the slot starter. Fins did not move the needle on any of their picks this year. Not a single starter except for James and that is a reach pick and the only reason he might start is the woeful condition of this OL talent.

Not a single difference maker picked, and perhaps not a single starter.

Go ahead and drink kool aid if you will.

How can you not love this pick can't wait to see him play. He's going to be a monster for us he catches everything (1 drop out of 106 thrown his way last yr) and is tough as hell.

Steal of the draft so far in my opinion.

Love this draft!

We shored up the line which is setting up to potentially be very dominate this year and picked up a Anquan Boldin type wr!!

keep it up Hickey :hclap:

Confidence is a good thing but think he could tone down the ego a bit until he catches his first NFL pass. IF teams agreed on his being "The Man" he would not have lasted until the #63 pick.

This the first miami receiver that can be a devastating blocker during the running game and a very good receiver. This is what a starting WR is suppose to be. I have very, very high hopes for this kid!!

you'll care when the only passes he catches are bubble screens and quick outs/slants because he can't beat anyone over the top. Horrible pick

Thats right, don't draft a playmaker in the 1st rd and hear bitching, draft a top 5 in the 2nd and hear bitching...can't win with you all

Jesus Christ could have been drafted by this team and people would bitch.

We're supposed to get excited over the 12th wr chosen in the draft? Ok, but I'll wait until I see it on an nfl field...

Agree. Hartline is good but poor in YAC.
Some fans need to get their facts straight about Brian Hartline. Hartline has led the Dolphins WRs in YPR in EVERY SINGLE YEARS HE HAS BEEN HERE. That includes a greater YPR then WRs like B Marshall, Mike Wallace etc. And remember that YPR includes YAC, IMO, the 1st thing a WR is supposed to do is get open. The 2nd thing is catch anything that comes anywhere close to him. Maybe 4th is YAC. I like the pick of WR Jarvis Landry because much like Brian Hartline and Devone Bess (before he went nuts) all Jarvis Landry does is get open and catch anything that comes near him, he has big, very strong hands. Hartline is money. Mike Wallace can be traded in two years. I'm still giving Tannehill the value of the doubt over his lack of hitting long passes. I think he missed Hartline on 4 almost sure TDs etc. The Break I'm giving Tannehill here is our poor pass blocking OL. Last season we gave up more sacks then any other team (58, 8 more then the 2nd worse, the Jags). I

As far as I can see on his YouTube videos, he is the man. He reminds a lot of OJ McDuffie.

If Landry picks up the playbook I could easily see him develop a rapport with Tannehill and win a starting role. And I'm predicting Tannehill is going to put up some huge numbers this year which means his receivers are going to have huge numbers which means Landry has a real shot to be offensive rookie of the year which means Hickey could look like a genius.

Get studying Mr. Landry!!!!

we dont need him to catch passes over the top. That's why we have Wallace for that, A good possession receiver will move the chains and that's what I like about this kid.
