Jason Cole: Dolphins concerned about Tannehill

Not even, at this point they have to be concerned about the OL and LBs... That's our weakest spots by a mile.... Even if Wallace is overpaid and keeps having problem connecting deep with Tannehill, he s still useful in this offense and at WORSE a very good decoy... OL and LBs on this team might very well be a liability on this team.... And im far from a Wallace supporter...

I have major concerns of Wallace. It seems, to my eyes at least, that every WR we bring in here has had near instant chemistry with Tannehill except one and that one is being paid too much for him to sit. Tannehill's rookie season Brian Hartline missed all of preseason recovering from injury but when the season started they were on the same page, last year Brandon Gibson seemed to have instant chemistry with Tannehill, this year we hear Landry and Tannehill hooking up consistently, he has good chemistry to Charles Clay and even Rishard Matthews. Wallace and Tannehill for some reason just can't get on the same page. I heard one of the beat writers (think it was Omar) say he has seen drastic improvement on Tannehill's deep ball accuracy with every receiver but Wallace...WALLACE IS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR DEEP BALL RECEIVER! So yeah, I have major concern over a WR who signed a $60 million dollar deal.

Oh, please. What the hell is the point here? Tannehill will be the starting QB this year, outside of some horrible injury. The draft is over, there's zero chance we trade for a QB, and the coaches aren't going to give the job to Moore in Tannehill's sink or swim year. There's no reason for them to be "concerned" about him now because there's not a damn thing they can do about it. What are they going to do about this supposed "concern" of theirs? Strap video cameras to his chest so they can evaluate him extra hard? ****ty sensationalist journalism at its finest.

Concerned is definitely the right word. They are concerned.

Joe Philbin and Dennis Hickey are going to be FIRED with extreme prejudice if Ryan Tannehill's passing efficiency is not much improved in 2014.

They should be expecting continued improvement, because Tannehill hasn't shown signs that he is done improving. If they are that concerned, I don't want Hickey or Philbin on the Dolphins. IMO, Tannehill was upper half of the league last year based on what he had to work with. I don't recall that many QBs losing their jobs this offseason. Tannehill hasn't done anything for them to be concerned about. If they are, it is because they are fearful for their own jobs and are looking for a savior. They should be more concerned with putting together a solid and deep roster and doing a better job coaching.

If Ross fires the GM after one season, he needs to sell the team.

Not going to argue with you, I don't like Wallace either, who am I kidding... Im trying but Im not there yet obviously...

LOL, I wouldn't be a Dolphin fan if I didn't have concerns. Still love the fins and if this is the way it is, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't think so. Too much evidence and speculation about Harbaugh for there not to be something there. And it's not like we hired Ozzie Newsome or Trent Baalke, it's Dennis Hickey. Hardly irreplaceable, and certainly not worth keeping over a proven winner like Harbaugh...

I would have to agree with you and Wannyheimer, if Harbaugh is in play -- and I am of the opinion that he is.

No covering up.. But teams dont start worrying after 1 game.. We would of heard this sooner than now

Jason Cole of all people writing an article criticizing Tannehill for Bleacher Report of all places has the haters all worked up and loving him. Go figure.

A common denominator I see is saying the Dolphins need to surround Tannehill with talent. Same argument was used here against Sanches. Upper echelon QBs make those around them better. Guys that need to be surrounded with top level talent don't fit that catagory.

Call that food for thought.

How is Harbaugh in play? It was posted 10x that his WIFE likes SO CAL

He had a chance to come

Bring him here now, and we have another WIFE pulling their hubby's chain like Saban's wife did

Journalism has now simply turned into sensationalism with desperate hopes of website clicks for advertisement purposes.

Tannehill has improved everyone of those WRs and Clay (Wallace had a career year with receptions)

Hartline will be the first dolphin with three 1,000 yard seasons in a row and he is a 3rd at best on PO teams
