Lets hope AJ is at least good enough and stays healthy enough to ensure you never start another game for the Dolphins.

You've made alot of money as a mediocre quarterback Jay so I trust we won't have to feel sorry for you.

Yes Jay, you did have a good winning percentage but so did Tim Ruddy and he wasn't very good either.

Jay, from the back to back interceptions in the Midnight Miracle to the six interceptions thrown against the Colts and Raiders in the 2000 playoffs you've displayed a knack for not quite being there when the team needs you.

I could go on and on, the 5 yard bullet to Bruschi for a touchdown in the biggest game of the season was classic, you were giving points away at the same time you couldn't produce any.

In 2002, in the season finale against the Pats, a game we had to have to make the playoffs, what did you do Jay? Well that second half of yours was simply brilliant..........3-14 for 24 yards.....smoking Jay!

So in closing Jay, your a wealthy man now so I don't feel sorry for you, and frankly you weren't good enough and really achieved nothing in four years and one game so I won't say thank you.

Perhaps Jay, instead of us thanking you, you should rather thank the defense who carried you and made you rich.

I know you all must have some Fiedler Nightmares to share?

Thanks to Jay for his outstanding work in Denver in 2002. He was the man!

Same goes for Washington and Dallas last year, the Raiders game, and the Bills game everybody has been talking about.

Inappropriate here? Yes, but it is no less appropriate than the **** some of you vomited out in the one positive Jay thread we have had. I post this here not to praise Jay but to make a point about just how angry some of you (specifically not BlueFin) made me with your disrespectful attitude. It wasn't Jay you were being disrespectful to when you tried to ruin our Fiedler thread -- it was us. :fire:

I also post this to let you know that this is my last visit to the thread. Bash away -- you aren't going to get an argument from me here because I know that isn't the purpose of this thread.

Jay, I wish knew which player was going to show up from game to game, half to half, or series to series. I could have been as rich as you.....

You were maddeningly inconsistent.

When you were on, you could play with the best in the league, when you were off, there was never a worse QB in the league.

I appreciate your heart but, it's time to step aside.

I can't say it better myself. So I won't.

I hate hearing about his winning percentage!!! He was on a great team! Put a decent QB in the last few years and we would have gone deep babay!!!

The middle three members of his great offensive line are unemployed.....

Infins. is that really you?

Great post.

Good riddance?? WHat? Did they kidnap Jay or something?! Last I heard, he was still here and we had a really dumb coach who says he's gonna start both QB's week in and week out. You make it seem like that's the last we've seen of Jay Fiedler...I already know you're wrong...unfortunatley.

I always knew what Jay was, I just always held out hope for what he could be.

Fiedler sucks horibly, he would never have had that percentage if it wasent for the defense....they bailed his *** out for way too long.
Damn right.

I have never been a big fan of Jay but I can't slam the guy and I've never booed him or wished him injury. I admired his heart but I honestly believed the negatives far outweighed the positives. Did he have some good games. Sure. But even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. He owes that great winning percentage to a defense that kept this team in games and some mind boggling catches by Oronde and Chambers.
Even the biggest Jay apologists have to admit he just wasn't that good. He was a notch below average. But the season's not over and I'm sure we'll see him in there again.

And of course Lucas and Griese wouldnt have lost those games if it wasnt for the defense right?
