Jeff Fisher chimes in on public critcism of Ireland

That can't be true. According to all of the Debi Downers on this forum and journalists arounds the entire county Fisher had no interest in coaching the dolphins because the FO is a bunch of buffoons and he was only using the Fins for leverage.

I won't believe it unless it came directly from Fisher himself, oh wait it did. Crap, file this under another homer thread.

Don't worry, they will find a way to discredit this

Meh.

The season can't start soon enough. I'm tired of the soap opera. Win or lose, I just want some Miami Dolphins football.

Fisher didn't say anything punishing, outlandish, or unfair.

This doesn't mesh with the fin fans masochistic ways. Therefore what he said was pure bs.

Jeff must have been "very, very, very, very, very, very" impressed with the Rams front office to choose to go there instead for less money

The soap opera is part of the fun for me. It keeps the offseason interesting.

Why would he attack the front office in public? That wouldn't make sense. But the proof is all there. Taking less money from the Rams of all teams. Pretty obvious what the deal is. Front office not filled by clowns and the chance to build around a QB instead of still looking for one 13 years later.

Fisher just did us a favor. Of course, you're probably not going to see this story picked up in any national outlets.

Part of your last sentence is why I think he chose the Rams. I don't think it had anything to do with the front office. Can you show me a link that says he took less money to be the Rams coach? Didn't he get 8 million a year?

Anytime we don't sign a guy everyone assumes it was becasue they chose to sign elsewhere. Has anyone ever thought that maybe we don't offer what the others teams do becasue we don't value them as highly. (Flynn)

Whatever the true reason, I'm glad Fisher didn't come here. Forget about his mediocrity as a head coach, but the guy signed Shotty as OC and a DC that is now out of the league. That would have been a great start for Mia. :rolleyes2:

The Rams offered him more power and final say. Ross wasn't going to take that away from Ireland.

Plus the fact the Rams have Bradford and at the time the 2nd pick in the draft i'm sure played into it.

You know it's possible that he did like what he heard from Ireland and Ross but he thought the the Rams was a better situation for him

Nah, screw that! He didn't go to Miami because Ireland and Ross are clowns and their sole purpose is to ruin this franchise. Eff them both :rolleyes2:

You need to get with the program. If someone doesn't sign here it's because Ross is cheap and got out bid and also because Ireland is a douche that pisses everyone off. If someone does sign it's because they suck
